Well, check if you have brake lights to start with? If you dont have brake lights, it is possibly a brake light switch under the brake pedal or a stop fuse blown. ( with brake switch malfunctioning, this could set ur check engine light and also ur brake and abs light. Check this and get back to me. By the sounds of the other accessories not working, check your 10 amp guage fuse which i am not quite sure, could be under the hood or in the cabin. keep me updated.

With the cylinder head removed and clamped down you will need to use a specialist valve spring compression tool. This allows you to remove the valve stem collets holding the spring cap in place.
