The only place, oil and water share a gasket is the cylinder head gasket, oil and water galleries run through the engine block and head via the head gasket. The cylinder pressure will be OK, it's the oil pressure that's putting the oil in the coolant, the gasket has gone between the water and oil galleries or there is an internal crack (unlikely). A coolant pressure test should show it up.

While looking for how to replace a Kia Rio crankshaft positionsensor, ... is on and i have a P0340 code, think this is theproblem? kia rio 2002.
You are not the only one with this issue. If the remote starter has sensors on the hood to tell it when the hood is up, I would check to see if there is an adjustment on this sensor. When it gets cold the specs on the sensor are changing and it opens the sensor. This may be because of metal parts of the car or the sensor contracting in the cold.
Check your fuses first off, then look for any damages or pinched wires. If the wiring look good look next for a bad or missing ground. A good test lamp or better a Power Probe will help you trace power and ground to and from your lights to assist in fixing the issue. If a reputable shop did repairs on it after your wreck I am sure they would stand behind the work and fix any issues related to the accident. If all these things check out test the headlamp switch. Good luck
I had the same problem in my sportage.....it was the disc caliper clip...it might have lost its tension or you might have had some repair work and mechanic forgot to place clip.....
Hope it help

Does it have a key switch that engages the air bag on the passenger side this switch could be bad or seat pressure switch a scan tool can retrieve fault codes to repair this issue.
