Engine will not turnover

If you are hearing clicks when you turn the key and if you know where the starter is, get under there and tap it with a hammer. Sounds archaic but when they start to go bad they stick. When you turn the key, the starter acts like the old hand crank you see in movies to spin the engine. When you release the key the starter believes it did its job and goes dormant. Anyway, if you hear clicks when you turn the key and if it starts after hitting it that is likely your problem.

What do codes P1175 & P1237 actually mean? Why are there so many options to choose from? How can I actually repair it?

The ECM has numerous sensors that are read continuously and these results are checked against pre-set parameters in the CPU memories. Every possible cause of a fault code is an associated sensor that is being affected by the fault so there are several possible reasons that cause the fault . That is to say wiring is a possible cause ---the unit itself is another possible cause---low /high voltage is another and so on. Take it to a service centre as with most makes of vehicles there is a common fault problem that experienced technicians are aware of and can pin point quickly. As with advice from readers the causes are general areas of advice to look at so if it appears confusing then take it to an experienced shop.

Low oil pressure cause

well after you turn it off unscrew the oil cap and look to see if the lifters are freshly wet plus my 96 850 turbo burns oil like crazy, i check it every saturday and always need to add at least half quart depending on how much i drove you would be surprised. so it might be low its not a bad thing for them to burn oil as long as you keep it full, i use valvoline high milege 10-30 oil all year. if its full and oiled then it may be a faulty reading

My friend worked on my volvo v 70 and forgot to disconnect the battery. Now my kill switch is activated, and I don't know how to fix it.

He may have activated the alarm system which will cause a no start condition. Cycle the key in the door to lock and unlock several times. That should correct it. If he shorted something I would start checking fuses. Start with the fuel pump fuse then check them ALL if it still has an issue.

How to change a fuel pressure sensor on a 2006 Volvo v70 2.5 T wagon

This is actually very simple, if a bit messy. Put a couple of rags under the sensor, remove the connector from it. Undo the cap on the Schrader valve. It's on the fuel rail on the opposite side of the FPR. Press the center with a rag over it and let it soak up the gas that comes out. Then go back to the FPR and undo the T25 screw from it, then with gently pull it out while twisting it back and forth a little and let the rags soak up the mess under it. Then stick the new one in, tighten the screw, replace the connector and turn on the ignition a couple of times to push fuel up to the rail and pressurize it, then start the car. My sensor failed by 'hiccuping' once in a while. It would spike the pressure to 120 psi, then drop to 20 psi, then normalize at 43 psi again, all within a few seconds.

My 2014 V70 geartronic has suddenly started showing a red warning triangle and a picture of the interior showing which seat belts are fastened. Any ideas please?

The passenger seat has a occupant weight sensor in it. If she placed her purse or anything in it, the warning will come on. Either fasten that belt or remove any objects you have in the seat. This was my very first thought when I read your question.
