turbo seals usually burn oil when they go bad. white smoke indicates the motor is burning coolant. could be a head gasket. it will have to be checked out to know for sure.

Id start by checking your fuses, find a fuse relay chart to make it easier finding what fuse is exactly for your horn, check the wiring attached to the fuse too make sure its in those cheap clips properly.

take a good look around the door handle. most of the times there are screws around that area (because it's the place where you pull the door, this is the obvious place to put some solid screws in). Maybe a cover lip? take a close look, pry the lip of and start your dissasembly. the rest of the panel is mostly fastened with plastic lips which pop out when you carefully pull the panel

U will need to get in rear of car remove door card and release by pulling the door rod in side then when open find problem then fix it usaly the plastic clip breaks or comes un done just replace,...also some times if it is still on u need to bend to take up slack so lock works

There could be one or more of several reasons why the ESP light has illuminated on your Smart car...For example, you could have a fault with dirty reluctor rings on the Abs system - faulty Abs sensor/ s ... a fault with the brake light switch - a fault with the steering angle sensor -- even a software glitch / issue in the control system...The above are known issues that can and do cause the Esp light to come on.What you will have to do is have the car connected to a dealer diagnostic machine - This will run a full diagnostic test and fault code read - to see why the Esp light has come on and quickly and efficiently find the right cause - and then it can be sorted out, whatever it transpires to be.You really cannot do much on a Diy basis on these for this fault. You can check the reluctor rings as mentioned above and the wiring to the ABS sensors. The abs light will often come on to with the Esp light - but not always. Dont check these these things with the Ign On....Too, you can check to see if the brake lights are working - if they are not - thats a definite indication of brake lamp switch failure which will cause the Esp light to come on - but while its worth checking - even if the lights do work - it doesn't always follow the switch is ok - it has a dual function - brake lights and engine management circuitry...At which point, if you have found nothing - you will have to have the diagnostic done as above to find the fault.

sounds like the switch which is at the front middle of the gearbox easy to get too,unless its a auto which although i customer with a auto version i havent done any work to the gearbox apart from top it up with oil,i have a diesel ford galaxy manual which is the same but with a ford badge and its a lovely motor although the paint has faded with the sunlight here in spain .

HI Youssef i believe that when you put the volume up to the max, you blow up the main fuse, because the new radio with volume up to the max consume more amps than the fuse is set to for the original radio. now you have to look into the fuse boxes and replace the fuse, this will sort out the radio and the door lock problems as i hope. 06 sharan sprayed and cleaned egr whilst still on engine not much carburn checked pipes clear but thecar permites black smoke turbo kicks in when required but engine sounds as if the timing is out can you help does it need a new egr or turbo

Each Vehicle is Different, Open up your Owners Manual and the directions are in there or you VW Dealership and they can assist you best.

This problem is commonly caused by a dirty automatic idle speed control valve and throttle valve but always run a OBD2 fault code as well as the cleaning procedure. Buy a can of throttle valve cleaner (do not use carburetor spray cleaner!) from NAPA or Carquest (made by CRC chemicals) and spray it into the air intake while the engine is running, use up about 1/2 the can, engine will try to stall hold the speed up, shut it down and let it soak for 30 minutes, restart and blow out the remaining fluid, shut it down and disconnect the negative battery cable for 5 Min's to reset the base idle control. If the above cleaning doesn't cure your issues you need to have the computer controlled automatic idle speed control system diagnosed and repaired by a dealer or electronic engine control repair shop.
