2006 Toyota Corolla Verso - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
How to unlock a stuck steering lock on Toyota verso, (use box key)everything on vehicle was tested.
Hi, I seem to have the same problem with my Corolla verso 2004. The steering lock doesn't disengage and the car won't start even though the immobiliser light stops flashing. Have you managed to get it sorted? Thanks***** Update**** In the end I did manage to get my problem fixed. It had nothing to do with the key. The problem was a faulty connection in the immobiliser motor that sits on the steering column, It wouldn't disengage. Our mechanic checked and repaired the motor and now the car works fine. It's a very rare fault apparently.

Why does vvti engine SMOKING HEAVILY 135000kms .1.6 verso. is this common?
if its black smoke then its a fuel problem too much fuel the car can`t burn it . could be fuel injector over fueling. if its white smoke then its burning coolant, there is a head gasket problem that is damaged in the cyl #3 area. it could also be a bad valve guide/valve seal, oil rings, compression rings. you don`t say what colour the smoke is.

Toyota verso lacking power
Start with a major tune-up, then replace the fuel filter, then verify fuel system pressure and correct any fuel delivery issues.

It a Toyota corolla nze 2001 with mileage 200k km
As advised by your mechanic, my advise is no different, in the gearbox there are what we term as teeth of different gears and synchronizers...being in such behaviour, your car needs a gearbox overhaul or replacement depending on which will cost you less
