it could be torque converter or the clutch in the transmission are slipping or the oil filter in the transmission is clogged up try changing the oil and clean the filter if that don't help then u wil have to overhaul it

Dang... Clean the throttle body/carburetor. Inside of it. Also the idle air control motor. Replace the air filter if dirty. You checked the wire for the coolant senor. Was it less then 5 Ohm's resistance? It is not the ECM or the sensor. Since it works OK after it gets warm. Do you use E85 fuel? Don't when it is below 40 degrees fareinhieght.

The rubber on my crankshaft pully is worn and my pully is wobbleing can i tack weld it

That is not a pulley. that is the harmonic balancer and NO you cannot weld it.

How do u adjust the idle speed on toyota 5a engine

Modern vehicles do not have an idle adjustment. However there are a few common things that can affect this. First, if check engine light on, you must verify any codes. These can point directly (or indirectly) to drivability problems. If there are codes refer to Toyota factory procedure to read an interpret. Or have someone qualified to extract OBD2 info with scanner. If certain no codes then often times build up on IAC (Idle Air Control) motor and/or injectors can affect idle performance and be a good start. Vacuum leaks can affect idle too, but these usually set a code...but not always. However other engine controls can influence it too. A MAF (mass air flow) sensor can be dirty or faulty and occasionally set no code in PCM. Otherwise have a professional drivability specialist monitor all sensor data to make a proper diagnosis.
