take the alternator in for a bench test as the dead short is in that unit could be blown diode block, shorted windings , shorted brush insulators , shorted insulator around the bolt that the wire is attached to once the alternator problem is fixed the rest of the symptoms should fix them selves

G16 misfires there are over 50 causes, do you have tools? and gauges, and meters? overheated before, so not now right? new engine, so compression over 170psi, ? at sealevel? seems its not in USA< right>? (if not , the many parts are different that is why I ask country) our 95s are called sidekicks and trackers. im guessing you are in canada posting to a USA forum? jerking and cutting out. when? hot engine cold engine, or both???? idling in park (is it AT? trans?) idling in drive.? misfires,. at all times. driving in gear,? only. cruising, only misfire? does it misfire, accelerating or wide open throttle. only? only up hills , only in some gears?, only in turns, ECU operates in many modes, (as above) and these facts aid diagnosis big time. or is jerking and cutting out not the engine, but the 4 speed trans doing that. as any AT sure can do. (gear, flare ,gear ,repeats) 27 reason just here. http://www.fixkick.com/misfiring.html my guess, is battery is 13.3 to 15vdc running. that it's bad spark got new cap,rotor wires and spark plugs.? old 21 year factory HV wires are helpless, get some BOSCH mag wires, on this G16, best there is for this weak spark engine. did you gap the stock class plugs at .028" or leave them at NGK .045" which is wrong, dead wrong. are the plugs OEM plugs stated in the NGK catalog, free to read online? or what ever brand you use? Did you time the cam right.? not using the false markes on cam cog? did you then after that, time the distributor to 5deg. btdc or as your book states? using the timing freeze jumper and the timing light? some are 5deg others are 8. degrees. depends on state or country. if i knew all ways it misfires, id be more savvy but dont. good luck.. PS: id pull all 4 sparks out. 1: color, is tan? ok,. 2: coal black.? 3: black oil soaked.? 4: fuel soaked. even dripping , injector stuck open. on 1? 5: green antifreeze soaked. 6: damaged. 1 bad or all 4 or what, this is called READing the spark tips and is a HUGE CLUE.

It just clips on. Pull it hard enough and it will pop off.

Check fuel supply to motor , filter pump etc check module or coil packs.

1995 VIT. (what country? ) we cant GUESS that. must be the G16 engine? there are many parts here. cable , pedals , levers etc. why no show a photo pointing to it or use this. SEE DRAWING A? what is the ID number.? you can see this same drawing on any suzuki parts dealer pages too. in fact, all cars. you can do that. there is no need to wonder what part is what on any car , just look, online at the dealers "parts" page. some parts are different from 2door, 4door. and different from 8valve engine and 16valve engine. neither stated. if you need a good p/n and a source, tell more. can answer with actual p/n

spark fails? you mean, at the end of all spark wires????????? which engine, we cant see it so you must say..... we blind...here...

1. check fuses first with a meter.
2. Does the CEL lamp glow , key on, if not fix that first. (dash lamp)
3. insert the diagnostic jumper clip in the DLC connector and see if the ECU flashes a DTC error code, cranking for 5 seconds. release key, and not off, and see if ECU tells you why there is no spark , i can tell you 3 ways.

mine has cops and is fixed. my h25 , is same, 2nd google hit. Firing Order 1-6-5-4-3-2 on my H25, #1 is front left. LHD , drivers side. ill check the FSM cyl 1 is bank one cyl 1 is always the most forward cylinder, in V engines. 16v. G16B motor, that is easy, must be 3sp A/t as 4sp has non.the modulator is at the read of the 3sp, and has hard line forwardfollow that and it goes to rubber line near the plenum nipple.hard vacuum nipple.1: the nipple with no hose. in the engine plenum.the 16v goes way lean with this nipple empty. at idle.is this a 3 speed or are you reading online advice for 3sp and yours is a 4speed, (apples and oranges, diffr)see this page for photos.http://www.fixkick.com/slush-pump.html

The fuse box is mounted under the dash on the left SIDE above the dead pedal / rest. if the mirrors are geeking out then you shorted something out

most likely in the fuel tank

Need to hook up a set of gauges and watch the low side pressure. If it drops to 15 psi and the clutch cuts out then you may be low on freon. If the high pressure goes to 300+ and the clutch cuts out then you have a problem with the ac cooling system.

Wow, well that can get expensive depending upon what the problem is. Be sure who ever is working on it is qualified as air bags can be very dangerous. I dont Usually recommend dealer repair services but in this case I would.

check the fuse

I would look at the headlight switch.

Flush and replace pas fluid to verify fault. It could be in the steering rack. If no improvement, try disconnecting steering rack from hubs and turn by hand to see if you can feel tightness. Check hubs for freeplay whilste undone.

flooding out incorrect injectors or bad injector seals

You more than likely have a defective glow plug. They need to be tested.

lost the operators guide there are 8 ways to tow. (even backwards tow, and dont it 1000 miles myself) you never said even 1. the ways in the oper guide car clear buy it and read? you never once said the magic word, 2wd or 4w. but in generic forum answer would be. 1: do not burn up the rear transfer case bearing 4wd. 2: do not burn up the rear 5speed bearing 2wd. easy no? and how to not do that. lits say you said foward flat to, no dolly. 1: drop rear drive shift (tricky ask) and drive to the moon, and back. 2: RTM read the guide and it tells you this. 3: buy the, bearing lube kit with pump, for trans. 4: buy the $1500 drive shaft decoupler lever device, $$$$$$$ask btw ive repaired the damage your about to cause...
