What does "engine system faulty" warning light mean

If you want to debug the problem yourself, the first thing to do is to buy a engine OBD2 scanner. When the code show up, you may see what is the problem using the OBD scanner and your cell phone, with the proper app (like Torque for Android). Remember to check if you are buying a bluetooth OBD2 scanner, and your phone have bluetooth as well. One more thing, the OBD2 connector on the Peugeot 307 is right behind the ashtray, remove it to have access to the OBD2 connector. The most probable cause is the fuel intake, may be the fuel, a filter or even the electric gas pump. Just a OBD2 scanner will tell you accurately the cause of the problem. Best Regards

Why doesn't it start?

If it won't start normally, but does with a jump start, it means your battery is failing, or the terminals are dirty. Not enough volts and amps, to turn the starter motor and supply the system

How do i bleed power steering pump peugheot 307 sw 2006 car petrol

Remove the cap from the fluid reservoir - fill the reservoir to the full mark. Start the engine and slowly turn the steering wheel full lock left then full lock right. Repeat a few times. Then check the fluid level again. Turning the steering wheel full lock should allow the fluid to get throughout the system. Any air in the system should vent to atmosphere from the reservoir.

Peugeot 307,1.6 petrol, year 2007.over heating.

Normal thermostat operating temperature is around 80 to 85 degrees so that temperature is a little high. Does she do a lot of short, slower city driving or faster motorway runs. Have you had the thermostat checked? I'm not sure whether that year uses the traditional type or the newer version with the heat sensor built in. I think it's the newer one. Thermostats are usually the best thing to check first as when they get old they start to fail and they are usually fairly cheap to replace. If it was the water pump it would be noisy, leaking or both. So it would be worth getting a good mechanic to look at it.
