Coolant boiling problem
There are a number of possibilities:
1. Not enough anti-freeze in the cooling system. Anti-freeze not only protects against freezing, but also boil-over.
2. Defective thermostat. If it is stuck closed or partially so, it can cause overheating.
3. Clogged radiator.
4. Defective water pump.
5. Blown head gasket.
Where are Peugeot 206 1.4 petrol timing marks and what do they line up with?
Depends on engine kfx engine 8v single cam pulley. The cam pulley has a hole which lines up with a hole on the head and the crank has a hole behind the starter motor wich lines up with a oblong cut out on the flywheel not round holes they are balance holes, you can use a snake cam to look through hole to find that. Kfu engine 16v 2 cam pulleys , again the cam pulleys have holes to pin to the head and the crank has a line cut out that lines up with a marker below the pulley . Hope this helps

Get the correct wattage globe. I am suspecting that the resistance of the globe you used as a replacement is lower than the original globe that was in the left bulb position.
Had this problem with a car myself.
The lower resistance changes the timing of the flash .
Maybe get a replacement globe from a
Peugeot Dealer
if you can't find the correct wattage globe any where else ..
Fault finding
