Authomatic nissan terrano model 2006 td27

You will need to have the transmission removed to access the torque converter. A new torque converter should fix things unless debris from the damage has spread throughout the trans, in which case a strip down of the trans is the way to go...or a new/secondhand trans is installed.......

How long to change clutch on terrano 2.7 tdi

It's not a matter of how long, it's a matter of being able to do the job. That gearbox and it's attached transfer case weighs a lot. How are you going to support that? Buy a transmission lift? Sometimes it makes sense to get a professional to do the work. If you have never done one, it could take you all day. You may have to replace the release bearing and the bush as well, and/ or the slave cylinder.

Nissan oil capacity QD32

Cut the side out of a 10 litre oil container to catch the used oil. Use a plastic shopping bag around the filter to catch most of the oil when you maneouvre the filter out of the engine compartment. About 6 liters new oil, diesel 15w40 dino oil is what I use to refill both sump and oil filter, about 5.3 in sump, the rest in the filter. Run engine and then recheck on dipstick after engine has been stopped for 5 minutes to allow drain back to sump.great thing is that you don't have to jack up the vehicle to get under it just to do the oil, but it makes it easier to do the filter if you remove the left front wheel and go through the rubber side curtains between the wheel well and the engine bay to get to the filter, especially if the engine is hot.

Why should my 2.7tdi terrano get through 4 glow plugs in one week?

Yeah, I agree that the relay is probably working...but my thought is that the only way you can burn out 4 glow plugs in a week is if the signal going to the relay is screwed up, and the glow plugs are on until they burn out... Did you have a battery problem during that week? Need to recharge or replace it? That could be a clue.... Or if you went on long journeys during that time where the alternator managed to compensate for the drain.....

2.7tdi newish heat plugs, glow light stays on ,smokes on cranking ,won't start

the glow plug circuit may be faulty, check glow relay and timer function, or connection to glow plugs, the glow plugs may also be faulty, if all is well with them, then you may want to check the fuel injection pump it may have a worn hydraulic head. To start you can try some quick start fluid but disconnect the glow plugs first,

How do i fix my RPM counter

You talking about the Tach, in the instrument panel(IP)? Replace the electric motor in the IP. If you have the speedometer, you should have the RMP's/ tachometer. Most likely is the electric motor. very slim chance, it is the ECM/PCM. Nothing to do with the alternator. But if your talking about the alternator gauge? could still be the IP motor. Could also lead back to the PCM.
