What did you use to clean the MAF? You may have damaged the sensor. I would suggest a used MAF assembly be installed and use only approved cleaners next time and be gentle when cleaning electronics.

run the fault codes and look for cam/crank position sensors. faulty or loose connections may cause this fault. If you have more than 1 key in the ignition then it has been known that the mass of swinging keys will switch off the ignition (current recall on all GMC ignition switches for just this reason)

If they mean the speedo gearbox, maybe. I think this works like older cars in which you have a gear on the transmission shaft which drives a gear on the speed sensor, and sometimes the gear on the transmission shaft can break the clip which locates it and it slips out of position. Many transmissions allow removal of back section to gain access to repair this. However, some newer cars have a speed sensor which uses an electromagnet to pick up signal from a internal magnet. Removing the speed sensor from the transmission (easy!) should help determine the cause of your problem.

You'll need to find out what code the computer sends to repair the system first. A diagnostic meter will tell you that. Once the system is repaired, the same meter will reset the light.

I think I would start with checking fuel pressure. You should have at least 40PSI at the fuel rail. You might have someone help you our and turn on the key while you get under your vehicle and listen for the whirrr of the fuel pump. It should cycle for about 3 seconds when the key is turned to the "ON" position to prime the system to start. If you can not hear the pump run or it does not sound smooth I think you will need to replace it.

Hi Jan, The codes are anti theft devices and are unique to each vehicle. If it is not recorded in the user manual (maybe a separate manual for the radio) ask your dealer for it. Regards and happy new year John
