Why does fuel kick back when filling at pump
it's airlocking. when you're pulling the pump trigger to release the fuel, there's no space for the air to come out past it so it kicks back.
either you're using the wrong pump or the filler pipe is incorrect for the vehicle. Then again, some cars just weren't built right as I've had that happen.

How do you remove the alternator on a MG TF
release the soft top at front and rear, hard top first if it has one, fold rear of soft top up and tie around rear door frame with cord or a piece of wire remove rear parcel shelf trim and sound insulation you will then see a metal access panel held with 10mm headed bolts 3 are a bit difficult to remove remove them all and remove panel much more room to work now belt adjuster is got to from underneath
I need to disable an immobiliser on my mg/tf car
If your key fob has just stopped working try this:
- Unlock your vehicle with the key in the drivers door lock, do not open the door.
- Press the right hand button lock button (the button with the padlock symbol or the dimpled button) on the key fob 4 to 8 times.
If the above fails try this:
- Open the key fob
- Remove the battery
- Press any button 10 ten times, and the same with the other button
- Refit the battery or a new battery
- Unlock the vehicle with the key in the drivers door lock, do not open the door
- Press the right hand button lock button (the button with the padlock symbol or the dimpled button) on the key fob 4 to 8 times
