Is there a radiator cap on the 2001 LINC LS

No. Not like older cars had. Starting in 2000 it moved to the overflow coolant reservoir. It's a big, black cap with yellow lettering. After adding coolant, make certain you screw on until it clicks. (Its a pressure cap.)

I have a 2001 lincoln ls v8. had valve cover gaskets replaced and loud knocking noise like something was dropped in the motor. what do i do?

I guess I would start by taking the valve covers back off. Whoever replaced the gaskets should be responsible.

My 2001 lincoln ls v8 has a delay wheel turn likewhen you turn your wheel sharp the steereing wheel gets loose feeling and the wheel dont turn as good as it suppose to be any ideas what it might be?

Front steering / suspension is only as good as its weakest link. There are many components working together that can be problematic here is a list of liikely culprits & things to check, tried to put easy stuff first:
  • tire pressures
  • steering fluid
  • worn/loose steering rack
  • tie rod ends
  • column u-joints
  • suspension - struts, joints, bushes components & integrity

#11 fuse on 01 lincoln ls goes to

Hi Aaron, I'm glad to help! Aaron, anytime a fuse blows in any circuit its because that CIRCUIT has a dead short to ground somewhere in that circuit. You need to find out everything that fuse 11 goes too. Once you know all the components that circuit 11 goes to you'll need to unplug one component at a time until the fuse does not blow and replace that component (PART). NOTE: If after checking each part one at a time and the fuse still blows, then its time to check the wiring going to each individual component because it is shorting out somewhere against a metal object. Hope this helps and have an awesome day Aaron.

When i go to start my car i blow the #11 fuse located under the hood, what does #11 fuse go to?

Hi Aaron, I'm glad to help! Aaron, see if the fuse blows when you turn the key to the on position without trying to start it. If it does then it could be anything on that circuit. NOTE: If in fact it only blows when you try to start the engine then your problem is in the "START-RUN-CIRCUIT" which mean you have a dead short in either the wiring or something on that circuit. If you find it is on the start run circuit then disconnect the starter and see if it still blows the fuse. CAUTION: When disconnecting the starter always unhook the negative battery cable first then rap the power wire with a rag or tape so it doesn't ground out on the engine and cause more problems. Now that you've disconnected and rapped the starter wires reconnect the negative battery cable and try to start the engine, if the fuse doesn't blow then replace the starter. If the fuse does blow then reconnect the starter remembering my caution. NEXT: Disconnect the Alternator using caution and try to start the engine if it blows the fuse replace the alternator, if it doesn't blow the fuse then you have a direct short in the wiring somewhere in that circuit. Start looking for frayed wiring that could be grounding out on the engine. Hope this help and have an awesome day Aaron.

Diagnstic connector location

I assume that you are talking about the OBD II connection. This is located drivers side under the dash, right around where the brake pedal is. Climb down on the floor and stick your head up there. It should be seen pretty easily

Add fluid transmission

TRANSMISSION FLUID

Checking automatic transmission fluid

The 5R55N transmission does not have a transmission fluid dipstick.

Refer to your scheduled maintenance guide for scheduled intervals for

fluid checks and changes. Your transmission does not consume fluid.

However, the fluid level should be checked if the transmission is not

working properly, i.e., if the transmission slips or shifts slowly or if you

notice some sign of fluid leakage.

Transmission fluid should be checked and, if required, fluid should be added by a qualified technician.
