2005 Kia Sedona LX Questions & Answers
No RPM Enigne runs rough
Theres a few sensors that could be the issue, it would probably be cheaper to pay a mechanic to scan and watch which sensor fails when the engine dies instead of changing random parts. There might be freeze frame data in the history that could pin point which sensor failed. Like if the crank sensor fails the engine will shut off because the cpu doesn't know where the engines timing is anymore.
What is a TPS sensor?
Throttle Position Sensor and it is located by the Throttle Body which is on the inlet manifold where the Air Filter Flex Hose is connected.
2005 kia sedona timing belt replacement
I have done several of these on rhd models and didn't find the difficulty I expected. I can't remember the details and unfortunately I don't have technical data on this computer.
I am sure you will find a useful how-to video on youtube.
In the case of difficulty during replacement it is wise to make your own temporary marks before removing the old belt. This will serve unless you think the timing is incorrect when you will need to see the manufacturer's marks.
I'm not getting spark from 2 ignition coils, do these need changed?
you can try changing possion of one of them to see if it works in a other possion that would tell you if it is the coil itself or something else is going on, your OBD should give codes of what cylinders are not functioning or misfire.if problem is the same try a new coil
Transmision plug
the plug is on the bottom of the trans. close to the engine cradle it is a 23 or 24 mm bolt it also has a crush gasket just like your engine oil drain plug. you'll need to remover the plastic cover from underneath to see this.
