How do you change back

You haven't mentioned make, model or year so I can only give you basic information.

Access through the rear cover panel inside the vehicle, in the corner the light needs to be replaced, no tools are required. Once you have the cover off, the lamp holder removes by turning it counter-clockwise about 1/8 of a turn. Most newer vehicles bulbs pull straight out / push straight in.
Reinstall lamp holder and secure it by turning clockwise. Check to make sure new bulb is working, then replace cover panel & you are done.

I have the Jeep jacked

You haven't missed anything, it is corroded around the center hub. Make sure the jack is secure and give the tire (not the wheel) a good hit with a baseball bat, steel pipe etc from the outside. It also sometimes helps to spray some wd40 or other solvent into the holes that the lugs pass through, especially above the hub so it gets between the wheel and mount flange.

I need to change the

A little more info may help, but for most of them you open the tailgate, or rear hatch.
You will see a couple screws that go into the housing.
Take these out and pop the cover off.
Twist out the socket holding the bulb you want to replace, then you can change the bulb.

My 07 Jeep Patriot lost power whilst doing my

vacuum lines dry-rotted out possibly unhooked from position , faulty fuel pump *, and possible fuel-filter, maby a gas line is leaking , plug wire or wires maby one that is rubbing and causing it to arc and lose power that way many possibilities exist ...could be a manifold intake leak .or !

you could try a few things to isolate the issue 1st put a clean piece of cardboard under the vehicle to ensure the vehicle gas line is not leaking start the vehicle to see if there is any signs of that ,.
then visually look for any vacuum lines that may have come undone or simply are dry-rotted by bending them if they are replace them look for any arc's in the plug wires by using a plastic spray bottle and adding only water and spray the wires with the vehicle running this will show any arc's bending them in the same way will give a clue if they are in need of replacement ..as well for a few dollars a can of brake cleaner fluid or carburetor /choke cleaner and with the motor running spray around the intake manifold as well as all connections between the vacuum lines

you can take it to most parts stores and ask for a fuel pressure test and they will provide you an exact fuel pressure need for your s as well as what it is running at ..
you may also want to borrow their code reader and simply connect it and turn the key to on not starting it and allow the diagnostic tool to communicate with your vehicle ...if any thing is found it will tell you or give you a code //Write it down and or if a readout is present you may wish to purchase your part/s while there ,
check all your fluid levels as well but it sounds to me like one of my above suggested places to look at ...the basics you could say 1st

hope this helps you and is an easy fix for you .

MPG

The mileage estimates on your sticker are EPA mileage estimates, which are notorious for being inaccurate. They overhauled their testing standards for 2008, but real world mileage can be much different. Driving like a grandma doesn't mean much. Living in areas with a lot of hills or mountains will decrease mileage, as will rain and snow. Check your tire pressure often, as improper tire inflation can hurt your mileage. Other than that, you're probably getting average for that vehicle. Welcome to SUVs.
