I need help on my 2010 jeep compass 2.4l the horn does not work I put a new horn in it worked for a couple of days and stopped working. Any one know if there's a fuse for the horn I can not find one ?

If your check engine light is flashing, it indicates there's a relatively serious problem detected by the ECM - continued operation is not recommended. Have you had the codes read? Not many technicians are willing to guess at what may be wrong without more information than you provided. Post your question again and state what codes you have stored in the ECM. Or you can look the codes up yourself once you know what they are. Or, (recommended solution) take it to a qualified technician and have them troubleshoot it, provide you a recommendation for repairing it, and an estimate.

Easy ,.there may be something in the way of getting it out.,.but if you can sneak it out just, drain oil ., remove the oil pan bolts.,. Remove old pan and all gasket material clean surface., replace new oil pan and gasket. Tighten bolts in a circular pattern till snug then tighten in a star like pattern I kinda understand

get it serviced? hard starts are usually never getting a tuneup, (like spark plugs?) slamming in to gear is normal if RPM is too high in park, is it. wont move , in any gear, car wont move even in reverse. and RPM of engine does what , sticks low, like 800 rpm or screams at the advancement of right foot. need lots of details. we cant drive car, but if could in 5min flat all that is clear, eg: transmission slips engine weak engine racing in park too high. wont start and misfires when it does. is fuel fresh, not year old. ever get a new air filter and fuel filter. if filter is outside tank.

on the dash cluster display, sure. these are not good codes to get.. what is best is the use a real OBD2 scan tool , and for sure one the reads extended chrysler codes. first U110a U110A is a steering column control module lost communication if you want to read the FSM on these codes, you can and do all the tests it states there, to find true cause. do you, , if not get the car scanned by a mechanic and diagnosed. B1A28-ECM Mismatch With Skim 126. lost comms with steering angle sensor 141 lost comms with TIPM 151 lost comes with occupant restraint system. the B1a28 is very serious. or just a loose connector. the ECM and SKIM say the VIN number is lost. or was garbled in the comm.s (noise)

security. read the operators guide (lost? it?) on security. or for IMMO, (immoblizer) the guide shows you how to find which switch tripped the alarm. if no reason, then the horn relay is bad. on this car and all 2007 and newer CAN-BUS Jeeps, you need a full scan, of the whole car. the newer cars have a huge list of checks it does. and will report , in DTC errors. read the FSM if you want to do DIY. or login to alldata.com and read. see the tests there.

There are panel removal tools available, but any flat prytool will suffice to pry panel away. There are also screws located at the actual door pull/handle area to remove. after loose, panel must be raised vertically as the top trim/rubber will be hooked @ window opening. there are also wires to be watchfull of and clips to disconnect before panel will be successfully pulled away. Reinstall is just the reverse procedure.

On most models built after 2000 the blend doors are operated by small electric motors. The doors would need to be checked.

no engine told at all no year told and ECT is not bad 99%^ of the time. it is overheating for 10 to more reasons and posted here vast times. leaking 50%AF coolant is top cause, or using only water< super bad that) 50%AF boils at 165F not told you your evidence of overheating. 220f is not overheating at about 225F the RAD fans kit on and must. is rad cap off deed cold in the morning, show RAD is 100% full of AF coolant? AF= antifreeze and anti-boil both. if there is air in the cooling loop the ECT then lies to you and the PCM both ECT does not work with AIR only coolant,,AIR means lack of coolant there. i will stop here. have 10 tests to find it. and tools you do not have to find it. leakdown tool IR thermal gun.

FASCIA FRONT REMOVE? Remove the fascia (2) to splash shield screws (1). Remove the lower fasteners (2) and disconnect the electrical connectors (1).

Try forcing it to reset, disconnect the battery, let is set for about 15 minutes and reconnect, that may solve your problem. I have seen similar things on other vehicles but I am only taking a SWAG on this one.

A 2020 vehicle , more then likely a glitch in the electronic's .Your vehicle is a rolling computer , has all kind's of control modules - engine -PCM /ECM , ABS , air bages , instrument cluster , BCM - body control module etc.. could have 20 or more depending on the vehicle options . They all share info. on a CAN system - controller area network serial data bus . You best bet have the dealer check it out , still under warranty .

With a voltage meter see how many volts are at the starter terminal. If not 12+ volts you have a bad connection. Check connection at the starter solenoid. Does it have 12+volts? Short the solenoid. Does it put voltage to the starter?

Should be under dash drivers side.
