2005 Hyundai Getz 1.6 - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
Do I have to change power steering fluid in hyundai getz 2007 done 55,000 kms?
Too early, unless you took more than 10 years to reach that mileage. Consider both car age and distance travelled, I woud guess at least 75 - 100.00 km or every 7 - 10 years (whichever comes first), but do consult your maintenance manual - should that give shorter intervals, these apply.
Consequences are way less severe than failing to change motor or transmission fluid.

Hyundai getz problems forum
sounds like a universal joint problem the clue is the increasing rattle/vibration upon accelerating.have your mechanic put the vehicle up on the lift and check the universal joints. I personally don't feel that Hyundai has gotten their standard of reliability to the level of lets say Honda,Toyota,or Nissan.Granted the newer ones have a lot of warranty (And they need it)My recommendation would be if it is doable is to trade it in on a newer Hyundai or switch to a more reliable brand of vehicle. I have consistently purchased Toyotas and they are very reliable to upwards of three-hundred thousand miles given routine maintenance. I hope this was helpful? good luck

Thermostat
you have to drain the radiator there should be either a screw or a yellow plug on the bottom of the radiator. then from there you pull apart the thermostat housing you will need a new thermostat and gasket then gasket sealent. the you pull the hose from the housing then take a paint scraper and scratch all the crossion off then pull the housing off and then the thermostat and put everything back the same way
