Have you run a fault code test on this? Is the fuel pressure within specs under a load? Have you tried cleaning the MAF sensor heated wire?

Too early, unless you took more than 10 years to reach that mileage. sounds like a universal joint problem the clue is the increasing rattle/vibration upon accelerating.have your mechanic put the vehicle up on the lift and check the universal joints. I personally don't feel that Hyundai has gotten their standard of reliability to the level of lets say Honda,Toyota,or Nissan.Granted the newer ones have a lot of warranty (And they need it)My recommendation would be if it is doable is to trade it in on a newer Hyundai or switch to a more reliable brand of vehicle. I have consistently purchased Toyotas and they are very reliable to upwards of three-hundred thousand miles given routine maintenance. I hope this was helpful? good luck

have the exhaust checked for blows etc if ok add fuel additive that covers the catalytic converter as well as cylinders,valves etc follow the instructions on the product.May just need the engine carbon build up removing
