Hyhundai Accent 1.6 shudders in reverse badly. Pressure plate broke and is replaced. Now shudders in reverse replaced mounting still shudders

Have the transmission tested for proper hydraulic pressure. Test the valve body and shift solenoids for proper operation.

Will the clutch plate out of a 1998 Hyundai Accent fit in a 2005 Hyundai Accent? As well as the Slave cylinder?

go to a spares shop and see if the part numbers are the same I feel that it will be the same but due to the vagaries of engineering you have to check first are you positive that it is the clutch as a faulty master cylinder will cause the plate slip giving the same indication as a failing clutch

After driving at 35 to 45 per mile for 15 to 20 miles the car hesitating, jerking and stop it will start again by permiting it to sit a few minutes

Sounds like a gas tank full of crud. Check gas filter to see if it is dirty. Also water in gas will clog gas tank filter then when car stops water will disburse and collect when engine starts again.
