What is a AF Sensor on a 2008 Honda odyssey ?
AIR/FUEL Ratio Sensor is just another name for oxygen sensor and is common for ULEV emission. and is twice the price of O2 sensor,Sadly the regular won't work and you will lose money if you go different rout.Buy the right sensor the first time and you will be good for a long time. Honda uses DENSO and is the one your computer will read the best.

if your going to be doing a lot of work go to Honda and buy a shop manual it will give you all the information you need to do anything on you odyssey.
1996 Honda Odyssey throttle problems.
I would start with a standard tune-up: new air filter, spark plugs (with proper gap), distributor cap and rotor button. Check the plug wires and replace them too if they look cracked or damaged at all.
Reset factory alarm
There IS a reason it comes on. It isn't there for looks, it serves a purpose. Verify you have the right amount of oil. Make sure when the oil is changed it is the right viscosity and weight recommended by Honda (probably a 5W-30). When it's cold, the oil is thicker and harder to pump. So typically people in colder climates should run a lower weight oil in the winter (probably 5W30 in the winter, and 10W30 in the summer)
Child safety lock
This is in the design of the window lock. In order for the driver to operate the other windows this switch must be turned off. Windows locked are windows locked. You cannot over ride this function without damaging the system.

1: turn car to ON (II)
2: press sel/res button until oil life % is displayed
3: press & hold sel/res button until oil life blinks (10 seconds)
4: release button
5: press & hold sel/res button until oil life shows 100 (5 seconds)
