Hi, it's sound like you have a bad alternator. This usually recharges your battery when it functions properly but your battery would lose power if the alternator is not working anymore. Once replaced, you shouldn't have this problem. Please check with autozone or car repair company to confirm this. Thank you.

parked? key off drain? your question is not clear, and zero evidence presented.but I toss my power drain coin and land>?we call that phantom drain, (or dark currents)well gee vast ways , for sure. even a bad battery or alternator dead, and not tested firstyes bad batteries sure can for sure self drain even sitting on a bench they can, FACTS. happens all the time for sure small engines and the bolt never set to spec torque, yes the key was destroyed, we can't see your crank snout, blind, wana see mine, here it is. damage has no limits, not posting photos is never going to work. 1.6L owner never set torque to 100ft/lbs. and is a train wreck. so was cog wheel same wreck,(useless) some can be fixed with STRUCTURAL EPOXY (locktite 660) 600 cures only when no air is present,

That tensioner needs a special tool to get the belt on : Snap-on YA9317. I have managed to get a belt to go on without the tool, but is was very very difficult and took hours of busted knuckles, cussing, and frustration. It is spring loaded and non-adjustable.

b1168/9 , not P1168/9 B is the word. that error is IP cluster communications dead, can bus to it dead. as will be scan too if fuse f23 is blown you forgot step 1. check all fuses, (means test them) this cluster is computer, it uses the CAN_Bus network to talk to all other modules PCM ,.BCM etc. i bet it the cluster is not bad. I bet it has no power, fuse 23, got that code how, NOT TOLD.

Does the vehicle struggle to turn the engine over, or does it crank fine but just takes a while to start? If it sounds like its struggling with a weak battery, I would start testing circuits for a parasitic draw. You could have a short somewhere allowing the battery to slowly drain while the vehicle is off.

USA car? NO engines size told? gen 8 Accord but uses near 8 engines world wide, all very differnent.USA engine two offered 2.4L i4 and 3.5L V6. the latter is belt drive cams. NO engine told makes answers super hard, and country. (the VIN code tells what country it was sold to)called a market . .. find a new shop (ASE rated)no communication.,,? or????what does this mean, scan tool dead.ok all fuses are all tested good. so use a scan tool and scan the CAR at the OBD2 DLC 16pin port near drivers kneesUsing a scan tool buy, rent or get it done. no spark can be lots things.\lost spark on 1 spark plug or all best test all of them if all are dead that has deeper cause.even bad Honda (no engine told cam belt.bad CKP, bad CMPbad coil packs scan it , as you crank for 5 full seconds, and release the key and see the DTC errors pop.no country told at all so can't know what scantools will work.or lists of engines used.no engine, no country not VIN toldhard case, nothing harder blind.

IN THE USA ALL CARS OLDER THAN 1996 THERE IS NO STANDARD DLC LOCATION FOR OBD1 BY ANY MAKER. no country told and it is not USA, or is it 2001 to 2011 The City is also sold as the Ballade in South Africa since 2011 your cars VIN plate has the year, not told.

Hi, it could be underneath the car or under the hood. Please acquire a picture of the part and start by checking each place. If not able to locate the image, then please call GM (i believe owner of Saturn) to ask technicians to give specific location and any associated diagrams for finding it. Thank you.

Look for a bad or broken ground wire on that circuit.

I would check fuel pressure first- most common thing i see is a bad fuel pump for a crank-no start. THe second most common thing is the immobilizer not recognizing the key anymore- usually need a locksmith to come out for that one.

NOT V6.sure. if In uSA we ask you the VIN and the VIN is engine coded to the exact H engine there. (of the 5) the DOHC? so if DOHC the first thing that come to mine is 2 CMP sensors or 2. 2 cam engines some have 2 CMP sensor. for far better park timing.. and varies by country, (smog rules not the same so.....) yeah none told. our 2.3L is SOHC< not DOHC as some are.world wide. (dig)? now answering only for USA spec, car 1999 , i read the SM service manual to you now ok, this car as the old DISTRIBUTOR and CMP is deep inside that, not fixed too any cam, at all this car , this country this engine. a seperate HV spark coil ,fitted deep inside DIZZY an ICM module inside the Dizzy anD CMP IS CALLED CYP HONDA. AND IS SHOW BELOW IF THE pcm SCANS SHOW, P03XX CODE FOR CMP THIS DEAD OR THE CAM BELT IS SLIPPED OR SNAPPED DEAD. the belt on the cam never lasted 23 years ever. so is bad that old, and when even slipped the PCM block spark this honda engine is and INTERFERENCE engien, and must not be allowed to slip that belt or break or bend valves you will All Honda engines are Interference except 3.0L & 3.2 which are Non-Interference. if spark is dead, CYP is bad, or ICM or belt slipped/ do not run any honda like this , with a bad cam belt or go broke $$$$$

tell a problem first, or is this a curiosity post.? only.? inline 6's are mostly all the same. is this cam timing question or spark only question or even both no year car told no model toles no engne told just V6 (vague) and I6 is not V6 so is contradictory. first off only honda motorcycles had any inline 6. Inline has 2 kinds of wring orders. Hi, please look on the left-side of the steering wheel just under the dashboard. That should be where the fusebox is located. If necessary please use a light to check for any words directing you in what tool to use to open the fusebox. Otherwise, you can check the table of contents in the car manual for fuse box access details for your car. Thank you.
