If it's a clicking noise, probably CV joint. Check for a torn rubber boot on the joint and look for blobs of grease inside your wheel (a good indicator the boot is torn).

Has the fuel filter been changed? Might need one.

fortunately if there is no problem in the engine running, the plugs do not need replacing like they used to gives you plenty of time to talk with a mechanic to get information on where the plugs are

I will share this kind of symptom with you because I have 2007 fit and its acting up the same way, it will not go into park and I shift back and forth between drives and revers then eventually it went into park. I also took the center console out and look at the shifter lever and disconnect the shift cable out of lever and it seems the shifter move freely therefore I don't think its interlock switch, I tried to call dealer but today its closed. I also have 2008 and its do the same thing I think they might have RECALL for this concern so please if you get any result let me know thankyou very much.

Hi Anonymous. If your Honda Fit is the DSi engine type with 8 ( eight ) spark plugs, the only thing you do is as you do the replacement with the outer four spark plugs by loosing the 10mm bolts holding the coils,pulling the coils upwards and by using the 16mm spark plug socket loose the spark plugs and by using a magnet just pull out the old ones and refit the new ones. It is the same procedure you have to do for the inner side other 4 (four ) spark plugs,you just have to make a slight room to have access and using a shorter extension bar for the 16mm socket. what engine? what tranny, A/t or M/T????? auto or stick? NO CRANK, turns over means nothing (starter turns, or crank shaft turns????? over.........????) it dont crank sometimes. is clear. no guessing. at all. by starters can spin and engine not, its one more clear symptom. eg; starter spins and tachometer is dead.? my guess here. is the key line is dead see all tricks here. Try spraying "lock ease" can get at parts house..spray and move key in and out.possible stuck tumbler..

the time when you check the tire pressure is before driving it or after is been driven? Reason I am asking this is because the air pressure after use checked would be different from cold start test. as the air after friction expanded and surely is more than the cold.check the tire pressure when cold and see if you are in the limit. If you are and still have the light come on then the problem you have possible are the tire valve sensor. Ask your dealer to check it .

Yes there is an issue with the transmission and in order to find out you need a scanner that will allow you to communicate with the transmission.

Got water in the trans? Try changing the trans fluid.

is this a manual or automatic. manual trans take 80/90 weight gear oil and you fill it to the bottom of the fill hole. the amount depends on if your topping it up or changing all the oil. most take about 4 litres. at any rate fill to bottom of fill hole. if automatic you can use Dexron trans fluid or Honda trans fluid. fill until the level is within the add and full marks on the dip stick.
