Remote starts are not a factory option. None do it. Dealers will. But it is all aftermarket. I have taken out hundreds of them. I refuse to install them.

check all fuses yet.? your battery charger is not capable of testing any battery, unless it has a load bank built in, i bet yours dont. so its really not a no start its a no crank. no car starts, or runs or sustains, unless cranked, (my in m/t car so can be push started or gravity started) so why not use jumper cables. this ends 1/2 the guessing here. it cranks ok, yes? that means the battery was bad, or only discharged if yes, get battery load bank tested. (all autostores do this for free) NO crankl then we next hot wire the starter solenoid. it cranks fast (engine) the starter is good and the key line is bad. it dont crank hot wired, the starter is bad engine seized. now see here all the tricks for fooling the key line. see em'? http://www.fixkick.com/nocrank.html#tricks and the hot wire, method in vivid details. each step , solves this riddle. no matter the cause.

(speed density car ,if is)3: egr stuck open. low idle and misfire.4: ISC stuck closed (IAC electric) 5: cam belt slipped, timing retarded, compression at 1/2 spec, and well, valve will bend soon.... 6: CEL glowing running? can be in limphome, limp cancels Idle controls (in may cases) RTM read the FSM on DTCs.if fails hot?, is hot = 180F temp or more? "thermometer time"if not, the PCM goes , quite nuts.

Hi Jason , no vin told no engine told of vast world wide. no country told. PCV goes to top of valve cover on most engines to suck the fumes off of there and burn them. a SMOG device. our USA 96 has a rubber grommet there and a PCV stuffed in there. tell what engine is there. and country if smart. it loves to clog and make engine leak oil and engine burns oil; replace it is best every 50k miles, it is only a check valve.inside, simple as can be but clogs. In the USA all cars here changed radially for 1996 year manufactured after july1, 1995 for 96 marketed year. OBD2 day we call that, even engine options before NOW GONE.

I assume when bleeding clutch lines you are able to get fluid to flow through, so there must be something wrong with the pedal assembly, i'd check there and work way forward

Have you had the new key electronically coded to the car? Replacement keys need to be programmed to the car so the vehicles immobiliser recognises it. If it isn't programmed the vehicle electronics will just assume it's an attempt to steal the vehicle and it simply won't start!
