2008 Honda Civic 1.8 Questions & Answers
I NEED MY RADIO CODE
Best Answer:you need the anti-theft code to reactivate the stereo. there are a few ways to get it
1) if you have the paperwork that came with the car, there should be a white credit card sized piece of plastic with the owners manual that has the code on it.
2) if you can't find the card, look on the inside walls of the glove box for a white sticker. That sticker should have a 5 digit code. that is your anti-theft code for the radio.
3) if you can't find either, then follow this procedure
with the key in the igintion turned "ON" but the radio turned off, hold in the radio preset station buttons numbered 1 & 6 at the same time. Then, while holding them in, turn the radio ON. You will see a set of 5 numbers and letters come up on the display starting with the letter U. release the station buttons. A second set of numbers and letter will come up starting with the letter L.
write both sets of those numbers down. that is the serial number for the radio. then, call any Honda dealer service department and ask them to look up the code for you. it takes about a minute.
if you bought the car new, call the dealer you bought it from as they may have the code on file without having to go through looking it up
hope that helps
Shifter d light is blinking
you have a serious trans failure issue. the blinking "d" light means there is a issue with the trans at that moment. you most likely have stored fault codes in the pcm. time for a new trans.

What is code error 1 on my honda civic radio?
It has been my experience that the only way to get that code is to go to a Honda dealer and ask them.
And, I am sorry to say, some will refuse to tell you.
God bless your efforts.
