Where is the leak coming from on my 1995 honda accord lx
oil leaks around the filter generally mean that the oil filter is too tight and the gasket is damaged , filter installed on a dry gasket, -damaging the gasket, lip of the filter is faulty--manufacturing problem, the old gasket for the filter was not removed before fitting a new filter--- gasket squeezing out
remove the filter, best replace with a new filter, remove any old gasket stuck to the housing, put a thin film of oil on the new gasket and screw up to touch then 1/4 turn ( fitting instructions on the box or filter)
do not over tighten

1992 Honda Accord EX 2 Door. Dome light stopped
why not use a meter, and the schematic to find the reasonsthe dome light works in many ways, the head light warning uses 2 inputs to do that "logic" and 2 ways, key left inand exiting car with HL on.so the door switches are bad?, the FSM tells you how to fix this.no FSM,? no schematic, try alldata.com, its there. every word. and how to do tests.a bad fuse/ just because they look good , don't make them good.sorry!they can have hair line cracks, we test them.but if they look bad, they always are.... no lie that. (no china fuses)and the ICU may need 2 or more fuses good to workthat becomes clearer with a real schematic. hard facts.seems to me you lost power. to ICU. or?the ICU can fail for many reasons, mostly not the ICU as many have found. (vast posts make parts sellers rich with $175 a pop)shorts. top the list. and blow fuses. not testedthere are 2 ways to test a fuse.ohmmeter (called continuity tests) using any DMMor in circuit, 12v on both sides. (super easy to do and is rubber meets the road test)(or even store bought fuse testers, useless to me with any DMM)
Need radio code for a
The battery was disconnected from my vehicle and now my radio display is flashing "CODE" and the radio doesn't work. Where can I find my radio code?
If an audio unit with theft protection is disconnected from electrical power, you must enter a unique code into the unit or it will not work. This code and the audio unit's serial number are listed on the anti-theft ID card that comes with the vehicle. If this card is lost, you must obtain the audio unit serial number in order to get the radio code. Once you have the audio unit serial number, you can go to the Radio & Navigation System Micro-site to retrieve your radio code. Some newer vehicles allow you to retrieve the audio unit serial number electronically from the radio. Refer to your owner's manual for the specific procedure. Most older vehicles (model year 2003 and older) require a visit to the dealer in order to retrieve the audio unit serial number. If dealer assistance is required to retrieve your serial number, the dealer will be able to provide the radio code as well. They do charge a fortune for this service BUT>>>>.... this website is so much cheaper to obtain along with detailed instructions
