Ford Ka 2000 is shaking (misfiring?)

Yup, you said it yourself, Your a parts replacer and not a mechanic. I understand friend. Your engine problem is the fault of a bad or really dirty fuel injector. Take it to an Auto Zone and ask them to check the codes on your vehicle. The code will read P0304 if it's # 4 cylinder that's misfiring. We call it a dead cylinder that doesn't seem to always be dead. Because normally it just shakes a little at an idle, is smooth going up the gears, until it gets into overdrive and it will shake and vibrate like all is going to come apart. Find out which cylinder is dead and change that injector. Done.

Steam coming out of engine

If this is a constant problem after engine warms up then engine head gasket is blown causing cooling system water to enter engine cylinders. This is bad and needs fixing immediately. Check if coolant reservoir is constantly depleting. Otherwise you will also have a blown engine soon.

Switch is usually located on the dash for fords on the left side of the driver. If not there then look for a rotary type switch on the signal arm or washer/wiper arm.

What is wrong when the milage indicator starts to flash on my KA car

It needs a proxy alignment in your local dealership, it can be caused by flay battery, leads being disconnected, a bad connection, being jump started or a faulty alternator, what happens is the ECU fails to locate certain systems due to one of the above mentioned and flashes the mileage to warn of the issue. Its a common fault in Ford KA's and easily rectified in your local dealership. Hope it helps.

Fan switch location

some models do not have a temperature control switch as it is pre-set in the thermostat to very cold It works to switch off the compressor when the cabin temperature setting is reached.. If it is too cold then the regulation is by the heater control . If it is hot all the time have an accredited ac shop check it for leaks and re-gas the system
