How to re-install a rearview mirror on a 2004 ford explorer

If this is the middle on in the center of the windshield then all you need is super glue and enough strength to hold it in place until it dries in about a minute.

Does all. Factory anti theift systems on a 2004 ford explorer. Have a valet reset button under stirring column.

There are no reset buttons for a factory security system. I would start buy checking for fuel pressure and spark. There will be a test port for fuel pressure on the fuel rail. you should see around 35 psi. If there is none than check for power to the fuel pump. I suspect you will find a fuel issue. 2004 Ford Explorer AWD. what could be wrong? abs light is on, 4 wheel drive ligh is flashing, truck is stuck in 4 wheel drive

Sounds like you have an electronic shift diff to put it in 2 or 4 wheel drive. You could have a bad position sensor, or shift motor/linkage problem. Unfortunately, unless you have the diagnostic tool to see which is the problem, it is best to take it too a good tranny shop.

Front end thumping that gets faster with speed

check for bulges in the side walls of the tyres and check for belt separation. Disconnect the front axles into free wheel mode and if the noise is not there it will be tyre related as there is no movement in the diff or drive axles
