Hi, the fuel pump itself may be the problem.

Check voltage and ground at fuel pump, pink wire is voltage black wire is ground. The initial prime is only for key on engine off, lasts a couple seconds. You use a testlite to check voltage and ground. Check voltage and ground for fuel pump relay. Also, you have an inertia switch, you have to check that. For testing, you can use jumper wire at load side of fuel pump relay, the load side is that line with the arrowhead. When relay is energized that line moves to the other terminal and sends voltage to fuel pump, just unplug the relay, use jumper between terminal 30 and 87, terminal 30 is hot all the time. The voltage and ground for the control side of relay is controlled by computer I believe, If the control side is the problem, I'd have to check wiring circuit and computer. With engine cranking, you have injector pulse, also?

The simple answer is No fitting the incorrect part causes all kinds of problems................

Do you have power in and out of the dimmer switch ?

I would say that you have a problem, if it is still bolted to the crank and the engine does not turn over when the flywheel turns......I would think you might have a broken crank.

passenger side from front of engine to rear of engine 1,2,3.....drivers side from front of engine to rear of engine is 4,5,6.....................firing order is 1,4,2,5,3,6

check vacuum lines,is it still losing water?,check oil for water,check oxygen sensor

Don't listen to this other guy , he doesn't have a clue ! Check the starter relay ,Transmission range sensor ! Does yours have a anti-theft system ? If so there is a anti-theft relay to check all so ! Also check fuse #24 15amp in the interior fuse panel ! Is this a automatic trans . or stick ? There is no ECM involved in the starting of this vehicle ! If you are unfamiliar with any of this components your better off taking to a professional , before you just replace parts ! you need a volt meter an a good wiring diagram ! You can test right from the starter relay , check for voltage ! Does yours have a relay on the passenger side inside fender ?

You have bad hub bearing

If you know there is fuel in the tank, and the pump is running, and you have zero fuel pressure at the rail, either something is restricting the fuel flow from the pump to the rail, or the pressure regulator has failed and it is allowing all of the fuel to return to the tank.

the fuel pump relay is #7 and if your talkin about the intretia switch reset the switch is in the passangers floorboard may be tucked just under carpet

check the cam shaft syncranisor and the rank shaft sensor first make sure your fuel realy is good also fuse, go threw all fuses just to be safe under the dash and hood!

may not have any codes stored in the computer memory for the hand unit to read if its copatable with the vehicle.. some are some arent..

You need someone to test the charging system on the truck.The warning light is on when the alternator is not producing power. The yellow white wire going to the alternator is on a 15amp fuse and it could be dead.

you might need to replace the starter or alternator
