2007 Dodge Magnum SE - Answered Questions & Fixed issues

Hello I have a 2007 Magnum 2.7L that has code p0302 cylinder#2 misfire seems to have coolant loss but can find no leaks. Recently had another code p0300, so both are active check engine light started flashing but stop and stayed solid. Not driving it. Replaced spark plugs should I replace coils? Any feedback please.

I have no idea why your here or why your using the vehicle, that makes no sense at all You have a problem or several You have retrieved OBD Fault Codes & thus know if you should be using it It does not take 3 weeks to diagnose,find & repair, a vehicle problem But you can ruin a perfectly good vehicle in 3 weeks driving it

Check connection to the idle air control on your throttle body. The iac has a plunger that moves in & out causing idle change. If the throttle body is dirty it restricts the iac plunger travel. Tru seafoam in your gas to clean fuel injection system. Follow directions on cam! Run the complete tank to clean system. Note: you will need to change fuel filter when done.
Reset computer by disconnecting - battery terminal for 20 mins or more.

Only proper testing of the vehicle systems will answer that

FIRST OFF , 1978 IS A NO DIGITAL DOCUMENT YEAR. 2000 IS YES. (ON AVG) so only books exist then paper hard bound books, service manual. so buy one used there 44 years old. and now have what you need they be rare. most folks never hand scanned a 1000 page 44 year old book. that be (over the top brave) not me! Dodge magnum engines are like any other make or model. Engines usually only 'blow up' if they have not been maintained correctly and have been badly treated, (driven hard before the engine has warmed up to working temperature. If you want a Magnum go and look at as many as you can BEFORE you decide to buy one. If the vehicle has no documented history WALK AWAY!! Not sure but it seems the 2006 and 2008 models seemed to be the problem years. There were more than one engine size fitted so the issue could have been with the larger V8 engine.

Check any rubber on your struts or any other rubber that's used for softening/dampering on the steering. I once had a piece of rubber on the front of a car that would squeak when my wife hit bumps going down our driveway, drive my wife crazy and since it was under warranty we made the stealership find and repair it. If it was the key or the theft deterrent system it would have a light on dash with a key symbol I would check the relays in the power dist box for crank and ign make sure there good and if you have another key try it also and it's possible the receiver for tds is bad is is in the column and is around the ign switch

I really question what kind of mechanic "fixes" 17 codes without getting the car running. You need to find a more competent mechanic. You have not provided nearly enough detail for anyone to advise replacing a crank sensor and/or cam sensor as a possible fix.

Engine control module. Run a diagnostic test to see if the cam and crank sensors are working.

More then likely the air temperature control blend door is not moving.
