are you talking about EGR valve. its located in engine bay by the side of engine.

big water pipe in engine bay follow it. its coming from radiator and going into engine. where it connects to engine its your thermostat.

front tyre off undo the steering link (track rod) from front tyre hub. take the outer track road off and you are on the gaitor. replace gaitor ad refit.

11.88v is too low. check your alternator and then recharge your battery

water leaking possible a water pipe has a hair line crack also check thermostat too. very common to break.

check throttle body / cable needs adjusting

if fan belt broke that means alternator not charging battery so need to jump start the car as battery is flat and will not be charged till fan belt is on.
