Soedo fuel gauge and water gauge not showing key does not flash lights when presed does not fire up citroen picaso 2lt diesel 2005
the ignition has a reader on it so when the key is in the ignition it reads the key that has a code in it of a key chip in the fob part of the key there are 3 types of keys. a cheep way to find out if there is a code still on the key is take it to have a new key cut. they put it on a reader to get the cod. if it has a code then it is the reader in the lock at fault. then that is something to do with either the immobilizer or the key reader. dropping the key or magnetizing the key can damage the code stored on it, to get the code back on the key you need to go to citron outlet with all you doc's for the car and the pass key. can charge anything for this code to be put back on or in the key.

Immobiliser fault
Spelling was fine, along with grammar and punctuation-you should see some of the mangled illegible questions we have to decipher, or try to!But thanks for the follow-up on your problem and the solution. Who would have thought was just the battery? Responses like yours are great encouragement to keep going.
