diagnostic software only iam afraid with this common rail engine ,but change the foot pedal control first before you go to the dealer ,try one from a scrapyard as they do give the wrong signal to the computer which controls the butterfly motor on the inlet manifold.
it is illegal to carry unrestrained anything in the front of the car. If you need more space to carry luggage then get a van or small truck. It is not difficult to imagine what would happen to other motorists if you hit a pot hole and all that baggage fell on you and how you would loose control of the vehicle . Come on it is just common sense to restrain all items behind you . A car is designed to carry passengers --NOT FREIGHT.
Get a second opinion as you are dealing with brakes here.
Things to get check/get checked
Brake fluid does it need topped up.
Fuses covering these systems are there any blown.
Brake pads are they worn or are the sensors damaged.
ABS sensors are they damaged.
Handbrake cable to front wheels worn or stretched.
Handbrake sensor faulty.
Again if it's brakes get these things checked out sounds like a faulty abs sensor but best get the rest checked to be on the safe side.
Hope this helps
First check the bulbs. Both fog lights are usually on the same fuse. The fuse box is under the dash, at knee height on the drivers side. the panel usually pulls loose at the top and hinges down. The Fog lights are Fuse 12 at 5 Amp.
*Note* Only replace fuses with the same colour and Amp rating.
The pollen filter in mounted inside the car in the passenger side footwell. Remove the lower kick panel. It is held in with push clips that can be gently hooked out with a screwdriver. Once the panel is out there is a black plastic casing up under the dashboard. There should be a long rectangular cover that will slide sideways and come free. This should reveal the filter. Slide the old filter out noting which way around it is and slide in the new clean filter. Replace the slide panel, refit the kick panel and push the retaining clips firmly until they click into place.
Wiring, schematic, electrical diagrams, fuse diag, error codes, torque settings etc are basic contents of these online books they have here on this website www.reliable-store.com I have attached. Must check it out
Your throttle body is dirty. It can be a do-it-yourself project but you have to be very careful to not break anything or forget to put hoses back where they go. Cars are similar and YouTube has several videos showing how. You can watch one and see if it's something you want to tackle even tho' there are none I can find specific to your car.
Here's one
HOW TO CLEAN THROTTLE BODY AND SAVE
