Hi Gerard, I'm glad to help. Gerald, I work on these everyday almost. The EGR Valve is located at the rear of the engine which would be near the brake fluid reservoir. It's way down low to the right under the exhause pipes very hard to see very hard to get to. When you replace it, get from the dealer and it will come with a new vacuum valve or at least it used to. You'll also need to clean the tube out because it will be full of carbon build-up and also make sure the hole in the cylinder head where it mounts is not blocked. Hope this helps and have an awesome day Gerald!
With the code coming up for an EGR valve I would consider it unlikely that it left the factory without one as it would have had the code from day one and it would have been fixed at a service under warranty.. If you got the car second hand then it is possible that the EGR valve failed and the previous owner found it easier to blank it off to sell it . I would consider fitting a new valve and getting it working properly as it is critical to passing the road worthy certificate., performance and economy.
have you checked all the fuses.? how did it run before this? it sounds to be a few things. first pull the starter and have it tested . the fuse box is also a control module . they have problems going bad
Sounds like your heater blend doors aren't adjusting from cold to heat. If you google "blend doors" you can read about them. They are usually pretty hard to get to, the dash needs to come out. Hope this helps!

There could be too many reasons. Air filter, MAF sensor, O2
sensor, spark plugs, injector and so on. Simply, get the codes read if the
check engine light is flashing. Most repair shops do this for free.
