2022 Chevy Trailblazer LT. How to get front head rest off.

Make sure you replace it after removal. It is part of the safety system and prevents you getting a broken neck in a crash. Depress the large button on the head restraint guide and raise the head restraint to the full up position. Depress the smaller button on the opposite head restraint guide and pull upward to remove from the seat.Jan 16, 2022

Stabilitrack icon comes on frequently whilte drivin, turn ignition off and itdoes not appear again. Driving the next day it likely will. Is there any harm while driving with the icon on?

Probably going to be the steering wheel position sensor. Keep track of how you park, keep wheel straight when you park will keep the light off. Most of us just live with it and park with wheels straight.

I NEED INSTRUCTIONS ON DRIVER SIDE POWER SEAT REMOVAL

The seats bolt down like any other. The motor is mounted to the bottom of the seat framing. The plug is either at the motor or on a short pigtail off the motor. It is best to pull the fuse before removal.

We're is the coolant temperature sense located on a 2008 trailblazer lt

Hi Janice , Before I say where the coolant temp. sensor is I'd just like to make you aware of a couple of thing's before you replace this sensor needlessly .It's one thing if you have a DTC diagnostic trouble code for the sensor but another if your temp. gauge isn't work ! You see the coolant temp. sensor is an input to the engine computer , not directly to the temp. gauge. The instrument panel cluster (IPC) displays the engine coolant temperature as determined by the engine control module (ECM). The IPC receives a serial data message from the ECM indicating the engine coolant temperature. The engine coolant temperature gage defaults to 100°F (40°C) or below if: ?€¢ The ECM detects a malfunction in the engine coolant temperature sensor circuit.

?€¢ The IPC detects a loss of serial data communications with the ECM.

My A/C ONLY WORKS IF THE COOLANT TEMP GAUGE WORKS IVE CHANGED THE COOLANT TEMP SENSOR AND LOW PRESSURE SENSOR WHAT CAN I DO NEXT

have you had the coolant itself checked , may not have enough in system , this could stop the gauge registering as only reads hot water/coolant not hot air/steam

How do i reset the security system in a 2008 chevy trailblazer?

This procedure usually works: ·Check the battery cable connections: Make sure the negative cable makes a good ground connection at the battery and (preferably) at the engine. Make sure the positive cable, makes a good connection at the battery and at the starter. ·Check the battery the simple way, like this: Turn on the headlights, then try to start the car.If the headlights do not dim or go out, then the battery is likely good enough to start the car. ·Check the starter and solenoid: If the wiring looks ok, then look at the starter solenoid for a good connection, and proper voltage at the starter(10 volts minimum while cranking). If the starter spins and no crank, the problem is most likely the Solenoid's pinion gear is stuck. Have someone hit (not too hard) the starter while you try to start the car. This usually works by dislodging a stuck pinion gear. ·Make a simple test of the alternator: If you can, somehow get the engine running, measure the voltage at the battery. It should be at least 13.6 volts to properly charge the battery.

Hard to start after gitting gas. that is the only time it happens

You may need a new gas cap. The only way to check it is to replace it. They're pricey, so first look to see if check engine light is on. If it is, go to a chain store parts house and have the codes read. There is a technical problem with some of the 08 evaporative emission control system. The code check will tell if you need the repair, about $85.00. The check is free. A gas cap about $30. So go have the code history read and see what you truck is telling you.

Why not have recalls on2008 trailblazers for ignition switches

Yea I have problems with my ignition too. I was assuming the it was just because I brought the car used. My ignition has a habit of staying on when you shut the engine off. This lets the battery light stay on in the dashboard and I've had my battery run down and everything. so finally fed up,I went to my mechanic and they said I need a new ignition, but I had no idea others complained about the very same thing!i wish they would fix that so I didn't have to shell out money on too of that too. Hope you find a solution to your prom ken soon...

I got "bells and whistles" but it won't start. it

IF it rolls over its not the battery. I would suspect fuel pump or ignition. The ignition has a theft deterrent built in. It will shut down and not work. Try unhooking the battery for 5 minutes and then hook it up and try starting the truck.
