Relay, replace it and keep a spare in the glove box. Check with the dealer about the recall that's out there on this relay. Not sure if 2004 is included, BUT it in fact does affect all years from 2002 to 2009. Why they didn't include all years is beyond me.

VERY common problem on GM vehicles. They built the wheel speed sensor into the wheel bearing and have had nothing but trouble. Get the trouble codes read to find which wheel is setting the code. Then check the wiring. You'll probably have to replace the bearing/hub

2007 trailblazer stabilitrak light came on about the same time the front started squicking Help
Probably 2 different problems. Does the light go off if you turn the truck off and re-start? If so, many of us have this problem, it's the steering wheel position sensor. When you park, just keep the wheels straight, light won't come on. Most of us live with it, not a big deal. The squeaking can come from many places, upper or lower control arm bushing, ball joint, sway bar bushings, foam on inside of bumper rubbing.

My 2004 6cfl. Trailblazer
There is a module that controls the rear window defogger grid . LGM/ EGM Liftgate or endgate module .Receive's message on class 2 serial data network from the HVAC control module to turn it on when button pressed . Fuse # 3 30 amp located in the rear fuse box . Do you know where the rear fuse box is ?
Rear Window Defogger Description and Operation
Rear Window Defogger System Components
The rear window defogger system consist of the following components:
• HVAC control module
• Liftgate module (LGM)/endgate module (EGM)
• Rear window defogger grid
Rear Window Defogger Operation (With LGM)
Battery positive voltage is supplied through the LGM 2 fuse to the LGM for the rear window defogger system. When the rear window defogger switch is depressed, the HVAC control module illuminates the rear window defogger indicator, and sends a class 2 message to the LGM to enable the rear window defogger. The LGM enables the rear window defogger by allowing battery positive voltage to the rear window defogger.
When the rear window defogger switch is pressed for the first time, the defogger cycle lasts 10 minutes. Further operation results in 10 minute defogger cycles.
Rear Window Defogger Operation (With EGM)
Battery positive voltage is supplied through the EGM 2 fuse to the EGM for the rear window defogger system. When the rear window defogger switch is depressed, the HVAC control module illuminates the rear window defogger indicator, and sends a class 2 message to the EGM to enable the rear window defogger. The EGM enables the rear window defogger by allowing battery positive voltage to the rear window defogger.
The following conditions must be met for rear window defogger to operate:
• The end gate glass position is not below the index position.
• The window express down movement is not requested.
• The window down movement is not requested.
If the end-gate glass is not fully closed, the DIC displays "Tailgate Glass Down" when the rear defogger operation is attempted.
When the rear window defogger switch is pressed for the first time, the defogger cycle lasts 10 minutes. Further operation results in 10 minute defogger cycles.

2002 Checy TB 4 WD Problem
No this is not a common problem, go to a different mechanic, he's full of it. The stock diff is a full floating one, different tread heights is impossible to ruin it. Many of us with 4x TB's have 200K+ miles with no rebuilds, no problems. If it turns out that your diff is trashed (due to lack of maintenence or abuse or other), I would grab one with only 28k on it in heart beat. Run as fast as you can away from that mechanic.

Make sure all the vacuum hoses are connected. On mine, I found the mechanic had left a line ( little 4 in long Z shaped hose) unconnected from the right side of the breather down to a switch.
