2005 to 2009 is the same engine on a Trailblazer, but you don't say where this 4.2 came from, but the answer is going to be no. It has to be like for like because the engine is computer controlled and not reprogrammable. The TrailBlazer won the North American Truck of the Year award in 2002. sounds like an air leak maybe at the air intake system.

If you pull hdm relay, underhood fuse box, should kill the lo beam, when you park it for the evening. There is a trouble code for headlamp control, manufacturer specific code. The headlamp switch sends signal to bcm, bcm sends voltage to control side of hdm relay. The ground for control side of relay, is constant ground. good luck

chances are where the headrest goes into the seats top theres a small push tab you have to press in to remove the headrest

The Transmission Control Module is located inside the transmission at the rear of the case underneath the end cover. Or the Transmission Control Module is located in an E-Box in the plenum chamber on the driver-s side below the Engine Control Module (ECM).

For the LS trim pack, where the long piece across goes through the middle of each headlight assembly: I use a plastic trim pry tool, and pop each push fastener out towards you. There are many I believe at least 9 of them, AND the long piece that goes from headlight to headlight, is attached to the middle grill in the center!!! It comes off in one long piece with middle attached. I pop the middle grill fasteners first, 2 on the top, 2+ on the bottom, and work your way out. Takes 30 seconds to remove the grill.

does the hose connect close to the battery...it is for venting the battery.

The throttle position sensor is usually located on the end of throttle blade shaft on throttle body. Didn't see model year listed, or I would have tried to post picture of location.

Battery can still be dead, but have enough power to power the interior lights. Won't have enough juice to crank.

What code #### ? No code indicates replacement of any sensor . Indicates testing be done . Could be a wiring problem , computer etc... ABS system is engaging and there is a loud grinding sound ????? Wheel hub bearing .
