2010 Chevrolet Spark 1.2 - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
I got a chevrolet spark. When cold she runs perfectly, but when warm she jerks the whole time. What could it be? Please help me
If it has been regularly serviced and tuned up It sounds that it could be a TPS...( Throttle Position Sensor )...or perhaps an 02 sensor...Oxygen sensor...Idle Air Control valve will keep the idle up until vehicle gets warm then it brings the idle down..there are a few things that could cause this....However If any of these are at fault they should flash a trouble code...I have seen times when no code flashed ...Your type vehicle is special....I would check for recalls......In fact don't waste time trying to repair it without trouble codes...Take it to a dealer.
How to raise the engine idleing
You cannot as it is controlled by the computer engine management system. If the idle is too low there is a problem that needs to be diagnosed and rectified. A scan tool should throw up a fault code and the mechanic can trace the issue from there.
Change radio setup to scan frequency from evry 200khz to evry 50khz
- Radio ON, tune to the XM channel 0 and record the radio ID. The radio ID will be required for activation of the new receiver.
- Call XM radio to deactivate the faulty receiver and activate the new receiver.
- US: 1-800-556-3600
- Canada: 1-877-438-9677
- Park the vehicle outside in an area with an unobstructed view of the southern sky.
- Leave the vehicle outside with the ignition switch in the ACC position and the radio ON, tune to the XM channel 1 for 30 minutes to activate XM service.
- Once activated, the radio will receive the remaining XM channels.
- XM is trade mark
