50 - 62 psi fuel pressure ! Yes this could be a fuel delivery problem ! It could also be an ignition problem . Take some can spray carb. cleaner an spray in the throttle plate. an see if it keeps on running, if so ,you have a fuel system problem. No, though there have been reports of the drivers window and door lock system malfunctioning after battery removal. It is possible to remove and replace the battery while the vehicle is running. Just remove the battery cables one at a time and place the cable ends in insulated cloth. Remove the battery and install new battery with reverse installation of cables.
You just have to be careful that you don't touch your wrenches to chassis grounds when removing the positive cable from the battery.

Seam like transmission fluid is low.
-Start the engine, let it run for 10 minutes to normal temperature . Do not turn it off and check transmission fluid. If it's low add more fluid to full indicator. And try again.

Good Luck

I didn’t read all the way through. It sounds like you understand how a relay works. Are you getting a signal for the coil side of the relay? Should one from the ECM.

Usually a problem in the power steering system will cause that. If there is an issue in the system, The ps pump will put an excessive load on the engine, causing it to stall.

I would next go under the truck at the rear and visually check the bundle of wires there. The yellow and green will be the signals...check each with a test light. The white will be the ground. The brown will be the tail and brake...test each with the test light. If you cant find the power on each go toward the front end of the truck checking. If you have a trailor hitch wire test the plug. Sometimes the plug shorts. This is some of the problem areas. Sometimes it is real nasty finding the problem.

H there, from what i get....
When trouble code P0496 is set, it means that there is an issue with the purge flow in the EVAP system.
also
The EVAP system is a closed system that captures fuel tank vapors and prevents them from escaping into the atmosphere. When your engine light comes on because of a weakness or failure in this system, you most likely won't notice the car driving any differently
Id suggest you see a mechanic and see if its safe to just reset the system or if the issue needs to be addressed but according to what I'm reading its more of an environmental hazard than anything not really any harm to you or the car. good luck
