No heat at idle
low on coolant or clogged heater core. if coolant is nasty could be clogged. if low you have a leak.

check to see if the reverse light works off of the one that works. trace the wires. and the tag light may be part of the circuit too. be sure to check your grounds across the back. problem might be where the one that is working is coming out and going to the other one. make sure the sockets aren't burnt up. check power before the socket and look for ground also.
My 2000 cadillac sts won't do nothing but crank up
have the fuel pressure checked with a gage as if its the fuel pump not functioning properly can cause this problem. also if you have anti-theft on the car it may have activated for some reason and needs to be reset.
How to diagnose a cylinder misfire
First do a compression test on that cylinder to verify there is no internal engine problems and compression on the misfiring cylinders is the sameas the other cylinders. If compression is good verify spark on that cylinder is as good as the spark on the other cylinders if not replace the spark plug and wire, if spark is still weak replace coil. If problem is still no or weak spark then you have a wiring problem on that cylinder. If spark is good use a LED testlight to verify the circuit has good power and ground pulsating on the injector circuit, if not you have a wiring problem if the circuit is working like it should replace the injector. If everything is good up to this point you likely have a leaking intake manifold gasket.

The gas gauge is off. The buzz you hear is you fuel pump the pump is a assembly and is quickly draining out.Now for this to stay in first gear and not shift and speed gauge doesnt work. Lets fix that.when the fuel pump works it pressurize the line,it does this so you dont get what they used to call in carburator lines vapor lock. because your loosing fuel and taking in air you now have vapor lock (hence the buzz) fuel isnt pressurized and you are just getting enough to accelerate. so when you turn you run out of fuel and stall at this point .Avoid uphills ,then you ll stall uphill and turns. okay for the speedometer to go out ,Thefuel sending unit recieve a ground resistor value in the gauge you have what they call a voltage regulator in the dash, this regulator does exactly what it means there it displays temperatur value and gas level a change resistant value now short the speedometor and it shorts it out and flat lines it.
How can I reset my 2005 STS cadallac anti theft system?
If your refering to the anti theft on the radio you have to either call the dealership or go there and get the reset code,you could also.look up anti theft reset on cadillac wensite and might be able gat it on that hope this helps you

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but sounds like your transmission has gone out. But shifting to park and no motion is an acceptable behavior:)
One other possibility is the linkage to the transmission has broken and you are not actually shifting gears when moving the shifter.
