just bought remote start ---is it after market then need to notify install company or manufacturer of problem ---if bought replacement fob need to have dealer program the remote start option

Do you mean the pulldown is not working, or the trunk lid latch is not connecting to the pulldown assembly when you try to close the trunk? This latter case typically happens when someone slams the trunk lid down several times not realizing there is a pulldown system and thinking slamming it will make it close (this often breaks something). Check the latch on the trunk lid - if it's in the closed position, use the key to try to move it to the open position and try gently closing the lid again. If not, there is also a switch on the pulldown assembly that starts the pulldown motor when it is depressed by the closing trunk lid - you can also check this to make sure it's working. Otherwise, either the latch or the pulldown assembly has been bent/broken.

The fuel sending unit in the gas tank is bad and you will need to replace it by dropping the tank down and pulling the fuel pump housing out as it is mounted on the side of the assembly. Run the tank low as possible if you pull the tank off and there is a inspection cap on top and you can remove the assembly after disconnecting the fuel lines and wires on top of the tank. the crank has to be on tdc for the piston position on the right hand bank ( left side looking at the front of the engine , the top most cam is the inlet cam and the letters RI will be at the 9 oclock position on the top side of the shaft boss on the cam gear the lower cam gear will have the letters re in the same position on the other bank the top cam gear will have li at the 3 oclock position and the lower cam gear will have re in the same position use the position as 90 degrees to the head and taken through the cam shaft center

Did you pull on the wires ? Is the PCM - engine computer near the headlamp you replaced ? They may share a common ground . Check body grounds , Do you know what these are ? Black wires with metal eyelets bolted to the body under the hood in engine compartment !

What's the voltage reading at the battery with the engine running ? 13 to 14.1 volts ? If not, it's not charging .Sounds to me like it's not charging ! Is there battery voltage at the heavier gage wire on the back of the alternator ? Does the battery symbol light on the dash work ?

in most vehicle you would have to remove the inside door panel to gain access to the screws holding the mirror from inside the door..

Look under the hood in the engine compartment an see if there is fuel leaking from a fuel hose or fuel pressure regulator . The gas smell will be stronger under the hood ! If you don't find anything I would take to a repair shop before it catches fire an burns up !

How you start you car used to depend on were you lived and what the average temperature is. Gasoline is tempers for the environment. Gas in the North during winter is more volatile the in the south. and so it all depends on what is in the tank and what is the temperature. so if you filled up in the summer or you are low on gas then you have several possibilities. You could have water in the tank if you are less then full, since the pump pulse off the bottom of the tank, if you have water in the tank you might be feeding only water to the engine, if you filled up in the summer and live up north you might have the wrong gas mixture and this would be hard to fire. Also you battery might not really be that strong and you might not be turing over fast enough to catch. take your pick best of luck

Stand in front of the car, open the hood, and face the engine. On the left hand side of the radiator, at the top, is the upper radiator hose; which goes to the upper water pump connection. On the right hand side of the radiator, from the bottom, is the lower radiator hose; which goes to the lower water pump connection.

Where is the lower radiator hose 99 It is a forum and goes on about draining the radiator.
