You have a small air leak. The fuel trim kept increasing to compensate until it exceeded the allowable range. Change the valve cove gasket and valve cove bolt gaskets. check for leeks around intake manifold.

Is the clutch working? If not, probably leaking fluid somewhere like the slave or master cylinder. Find and fix. If clutch works normally in reverse, the internal shift mechanism may have jammed. Some of the transmissions can be worked on in car (remove trim, remove top holding shifter in place and try to manually reset shift levers) while others require removal from the vehicle.

need to first make sure your using the specified by dealer oil.in your oil changes. also filter cause the after market breaks and Dubree like that causes these problems.

handles may be in good condition but the lever on the latch itself may have came loose. your mostlikley looking at dismantelling the apolsery with the door closed to rectify it.

I am not familiar with the X5, but most cars electric fans are controlled by a thermostat. If the thermostat, or the associated relay is stuck or defective, this could cause this problem. BE AWARE however that most fans stay on for a time to cool the engine, even after shut down. If your battery is weak, the fan staying on could draw the battery down.
