unfortunately, like many automakers, they are forcing owners to have to pay them for services you could and should do yourself. just like those ridiculous tire pressure sensors, many times the car owner cannot reset them or program them. beamers.... usually gotta pay the dealer simply to reset a device that never existed in my day

not positive but i think beamer is like volvo where they were smart enough to put an opening in the trunk to access top of gas tank.

Check your battery, those I believe have 2. Check the connection of the battery. If it’s nasty and whitish and green, get a metal brush and clean everything. Of course unplug the battery terminals first! Anyways, make sure you check to make sure you replaced both batteries because I’m pretty sure there’s one under the hood, but also in the trunk. Each controls totally different things, but both are needed to start the vehicle. Under the hood battery supplies power to certain engine computer components and exterior lighting, and the trunk battery supplies power to most interior controls, and even some engine components.

Also, check your ignition coils too. Make sure they are in the correct firing order and are all good too. Double check your work. I’d need a bit more info, but, does the car try to start and just won’t turn over? OR, you try and absolutely nothing happens?

These aren’t the most reliable cars, just being real with you. I’ve seen problems with fuel management in the 7 series in general too, so maybe last resort check into that.

Hope this helps you man. Good luck with the 740iL

Try this - I looked but the first video looked like you were expected to crawl under your car and clip a jumper + lead to the starter and the negative to anywhere on the body
This might help more:
Basically passenger door - insert key - pull up on handle and then start turning the key to unlock and it will mechanically do just that so you can enter the car via that door

Hi, the abs pump is a known problem on BMW motorbikes, it can be deleted but probably better with it, used/second hand would be the cheapest cure but as its a common fault may be impossible to find, I would google a repair kit to see if one is available, but may be a professional job I think. As for the speedo fix I would check the wiring is all ok including all connections , a cheap fix I have used is a good quality bicycle speedo and will pass MOT test in the U.K. Hope this helps.

I would 1st start with locating your fuse box for your car. Usually your car comes with a service guide manual. Look up fuse box locations there might be a couple of locations. It helps to have your manual because sometimes the fuse box cover doesnt have a identification key sticker label so you have no clue which fuse is it. But if it does then your in luck locate a pwr mirror fuse check it if the fuse is blown you will see a break in the fuse viewer replace it with the same amount amp as you pulled out or as suggested on the label sticker on the box. Never exceed the amount suggested or you could create more problems

0025 says code on dash display try enering 0000 or 1234. If still problematic add last 4 of car's VIN number by using car's radio example 5578 code would be 0025. Hope this helps. I am no expert but I have rebuilt my engine myself and replaced vanos timing rails. Best of luck.I hope this day

This is a sign that the wiring to that speaker is disconnected. IT could be in the door or the wiring between the door and the frame to the main body of the car has broken.
