2006 BMW 760Li Questions & Answers
Where do I top up the steering fluid for the BMW 760 Li?
You will see a black canister with a cap on it that says CHF 11S on it that is your steering fluid reservoir and that CHF 11S (which is normally green in colour) is the only type of fluid you can put in there, do not put standard power steering fluid in (Red in colour) as this will result in the system not working properly.

REPLACING SPARK PLUGS ON A 2003 BMW 760LI
Hi Tony
Really? to be honest, this is a very time consuming thing, it will take a professional 2 1/4 hours to change the spark plugs on your vehicle, so if you have not a clue how to then you are going to be looking at at least 4 hours+ to do it, you will have to remove the intake manifold and also all its associated equipment attached to it as well and you will probably need a hand to lift it all out and put it back in, there is no easy way to do it, i would rather spend the money on a pro to get his hands cut up also after you change them there is that chance that you will need to re-seal the manifold and might get a light on your dash that will have to be re-set by the dealer anyway, so...not to put you off, good luck with that.
How can I get the HDC to turn off in my 2002 bmw x5?
To turn off HDC on a BMW, all you have to do is press the HDC button located on the center console. The button will have an image of a vehicle going downhill with a speedometer above it, and you'll know it's off if there are no lights illuminated above it. If you ever want to turn the system on again, just press the button again.
2003 BMW X5 4.4 no crank no start
Check the basics first. Is battery fully charged? This is the most common reason for a no crank, no start. What exactly does it do when you turn the key? Nothing at all, no lights, no 'click' as you turn the key. A slow lazy crank?
