STOP what you are doing before you damage something!! Whatever you are trying to remove is not the water pump. Neither the sparkplugs nor the "timing belt" cover needs to come off. Remove the fan belt. Remove the fan (the nut is LH thread- means it turns left to tighten and right to loosen). You will need a large wrench (32mm) availible at sears.The water pump is directly behind the fan and is held in by 4 10mm bolts.

Check the battery. It may be giving off a low voltage reading.

There's trapped air in the cooling system.

• You need to remove the bleeder screw on top of the radiator when adding water to the expansion tank.
• With the engine running, pour water into the expansion tank till you see air go out through the bleeder screw's hole.
• Just keep adding water until no more air bubbles come out then just put the screw back in place.
• Then fill the expansion tank to it's normal level/line.

Please elaborate for me, the dash display says Check Control?

Check the ground wire first, it's the brown wire and several of them join on a tab that is bolted somewhere in the trunk. Check under the bolt for corrosion. Clean and re-attach.

Hello, The safest way for you to know which gearbox fits your car (second hand) you first have to go to a parts shop with your VIN and get the code and the model for your gearbox. Don't just rely on car year and engine power. Hope this helps

You probably blew a fuse of knocked out a wiring harness during the install. Check the fuses first, if you don't see anything blown pull the radio back out and be sure all the wiring harnesses in the area near the radio are secure.

The car was set not to go over 100 mph.

Have you found the fuse box, under the bonnet on LHS of vehicle?In the lid of the fuse box it will outline which fuse controls the function.

Replace the sensor if a oil pressure test shows the engine has enough pressure.

Fuel Pump and fuel filter change sounds to be what the Dr ordered also change the fuel pressure regulator all at the same time. You will be 100%

Hi Undergrou, Your best way of dealing with this problem is to have a diagnostic scan carried out on the vehicle. The most common cause of the problem is a defective crankshaft or camshaft pick up sensor. Regards John

Try replacing the thermostat. It is supposed to open when the water temp reaches a certain point usually around 180 degrees. It might be stuck in the closed position.

You will need fuel line block off clamp

P0302 - misfire on #2 cylinder . Could be a bad spark plug , spark plug wire , or a bad ingintion coil , a bad fuel injector etc.... There are videos on youtube that could help you sort this out .

Check the air outlet temperatures at the vents. If they are very low, your cabin air filter might be plugged/dirty. Has any work been done on the compressor lately? dirt in the system can cause the expansion valve to malfunction.
