get the service manual.
the users guide does not cover relays.
or 2 persons find it.
one key start (cranking)
other one finds the relay that clicks cranked
bingo found, and can click even bad. (contractor burned inside) or starter is bad. ever hot wire a starter , keys in pocket?
or of all are dead , chances are the relay is good and
problem is up stream.(from relay)
PRNDL switch bad, in Park and Neutral both?
key switch failing (bet not)
IMMO lamp glowing wrong and engine is DISABLED.?
try both IMMO keys yet, it came new with 2 keys
battery is bad and dead
battery is only discharged
battery lugs, rusty and loose all 4ends good, 2 cables.
scan the PCM yet, see if it tells you what died?
no country told, and scanning is not the same outside USA.
it is based on secret country you. for sure. 2003
all ours 1996 up is OBD2, we invented it here. EPA.gov mandated. other countries lagged till 2003 or 07 or beyond.
not posting the country makes answers super hard and most times dead wrong.
your X5 has many Range rover parts. 99 up
best is check all fuses first
then scan it, never miss out on the chance it tells you
for example TRS (tran, range switch) errors (PRNDL)
be a shame to mis out on that.
or not cranking? is it? (is cranking dead? or just slow)
shift to Neutral and crank, to see if that works is really first.
covered this is , in the users guide, crank in park or N./
Hi I have been told that the first thing to do is to check thr power steering fluid level, if not that then you should check that battery voltage is ok and alternator is working ok, hope this was some help all the best.
all cars made for 100 year like to short
cheap harnesses. that rub, fray and short from VIBRATION not more it does the worst it gets.
my buddy captain Dick almost died in C5 Galaxy with short;in the harness mid cargo bay.
he saved the day by pulling the connector there and the fire ended. ( got burn hands doing so but lived)
on your car pull the loads to HVAC controller
may be the blower motor shorted.
test and isolate related parts and the actual shorted device is found, and fuse holds
or is wrong fuse there. oops use correct amps rating only.
2009 is the year of BAD CAPS PLAGUE. so the controller caps may be hard dead shorted out
as they surely love to do. then. (cloned caps H3LL)
The codes you provided suggest that there may be a problem with the throttle position sensor or the secondary air injection system in your BMW 325i. However, it's important to note that these codes alone may not be enough to diagnose the exact issue.
Here are a few possible causes and troubleshooting steps you can take:
Check the throttle position sensor (TPS) - The TPS is responsible for communicating the position of the throttle to the engine control module (ECM). If the TPS is faulty, it may cause the engine to not start. You can use a multimeter to check the resistance of the TPS and compare it to the manufacturer's specifications. If the TPS is out of range, it may need to be replaced.
Check the secondary air injection system - The secondary air injection system injects air into the exhaust to help reduce emissions. If there is a problem with this system, it can cause the engine to not start. Check the air pump, air pump relay, and check valve to make sure they are functioning correctly.
Check for loose or damaged connections - A loose or damaged connection can cause electrical problems that may prevent the engine from starting. Check the battery connections, ground connections, and all wiring harnesses to make sure they are secure and free from damage.
Check the fuel system - If the fuel system is not functioning correctly, it can cause the engine to not start. Check the fuel pump, fuel filter, and fuel pressure regulator to make sure they are working correctly.
If you're not comfortable performing these steps yourself, you may want to consider taking your BMW to a certified mechanic for diagnosis and repair. They will be able to use diagnostic tools to pinpoint the exact cause of the problem and make the necessary repairs.
the cooling system needs service .
get some?
do you want 25 guesses?
or all tests to find it.? and tools and how to use those tools.
never run sans STAT it can cause big turbulent problems at the pump impeller. (an new one is what we do, for sure 10 years old is its engineered life span so is DUE.

new cap , new STAT
step 3 is find leaks/ on ground or on passengers toes?<heater core.
and lots more sorry not typing them again and did so way too many times here.
the hot coolant is under 15psi, and if there are any leaks
this magical fact (physics) allow you to find leaks easy, .
parked hood up. leaks. find them. even take your time and look hard.
The automatic transmission fluid fill location on a 2008 BMW 650i can vary depending on the specific model and transmission type, but generally it is located under the hood and accessed through a dipstick tube.
To locate the dipstick tube for the automatic transmission fluid, follow these steps:
1. Open the hood of the vehicle and locate the transmission fluid dipstick. The dipstick handle is usually yellow, red, or black and is labeled with "ATF" or "trans." 2. Remove the dipstick from the tube and wipe it clean with a lint-free cloth or paper towel. 3. Reinsert the dipstick all the way back into the tube and then remove it again. The fluid level on the dipstick should indicate the current level of transmission fluid. 4. If the fluid level is low, you will need to add automatic transmission fluid. To add fluid, remove the dipstick and use a funnel to pour the fluid into the dipstick tube. Be sure to use the correct type of transmission fluid specified in your owner's manual. 5. Check the fluid level again with the dipstick to make sure it is at the correct level. Add more fluid as needed.
Note: It is important to follow the recommended procedure for checking and adding transmission fluid to your BMW 650i to avoid overfilling the system, which can cause damage to the transmission. If you are unsure about the location of the dipstick or how to properly add fluid, consult your owner's manual or a qualified mechanic for assistance.
SO DID NOT SCAN THE PCM FIRST SEE RADIO ERRORS OR COMM FAIL TO IT OR??????? MODERN CARS MUST BE SCANNED OR GO BROKE GUE$$ING.
CHECK FUSES FIRST (3 FUSE BOXES HERE)
NOT TOLD AT ALL
CAR DRIVES OK./??????
DO ALL OTHER ELECTRIC THINGS WORK OR NOT.
GEE CHECK ALL FUSES, IF NO MANUALS, OR BUY THE SERVICE MANUALS?
not told is display on RADIO dead too? and all modes fail
AM/FM OR OTHER MODES ALL FAIL. CD FAIL?
OR IS ONLY SATELLITE RADIO DEAD.??>???
THE FREE USERS GUIDE SAYS OPEN HATCH INSIDE GLOVE BOX . NOT FOUND YET THIS? AND UNDER HOOD BOX.
2ND BOX IS CARGO AREA , COVER TO SLIDE OFF.
WE TEST ALL FUSE, NOT GUESS, LACKING SERVICE MANUAL THERE ARE 100+ LOADS ON 20 FUSES, ONLY SERVICE MANUAL ON ANY CAR COVERS ALL LOADS. ON ANY FUSE.
FACTS. SO WE CHECK ALL FUSES, LACKING THE BOOK

BUT NOW YOU MUST LEARN GERMAN CRAZY NAMES FOR DEVICES, (NOT REAL NAMES JUST SILLY NUMBERS CODES)
THAT TAKES A REAL MANUAL TO LEARN
OR THIS

GUESS #1
DID NOT LOOK IN ALL 3 FUSE BOXES FOR BLOWN FUSES
DO KNOW THAT MOST HEADENDS ARE THEFT SECURE
AND SOME JUST KILL DEAD SOUND WHEN THE LICENSE CODES IS LOST EVEN MAIN BATTERY DEAD DOES THAT.
ONLY BMW CAN FIX THAT.
NOT SCANNING THE PCM/BCM IS JUST NOT WISE.
CHECK ALL FUSES THEN SCAN THE CAR, OBD2.
If you are seeing a "no key" symbol on your BMW's dashboard and your window went down, it could indicate a problem with the key or the vehicle's anti-theft system. Here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue:
Check the key battery: A low battery in your key fob can cause communication issues with the vehicle, leading to the "no key" symbol. Replace the battery in your key fob and try starting the car again.
Try a spare key: If you have a spare key, try using it to start the car. If the spare key works, then the issue is likely with the original key fob, and you may need to have it reprogrammed or replaced.
Check for interference: Sometimes, other electronic devices or signals can interfere with the key's communication with the car. Move away from any potential sources of interference, such as cell phones or other electronic devices, and try starting the car again.
Check the fuse: If your window is not responding, it may be related to a blown fuse. Check the vehicle's fuse box and replace any blown fuses.
Contact a professional: If none of these steps resolve the issue, it may be necessary to contact a professional mechanic or BMW dealership for further diagnosis and repair.
It's important to address this issue promptly as it can leave your car vulnerable to theft (obviously). Hope that helps!!!
I have two ideas on this.
Have you disconnected the battery or had it drain flat recently? It may be the anti-theft immobilizer, and needs resetting. Having said that, the second video shows how to reset all the modules and it just starts right up!

Or the fuel pump isn't creating enough pressure. You can test with a gauge borrowed from Autozone..
If your 2012 BMW 535i is losing all of its water but not overheating, there could be a few possible causes:
Leak in the coolant system: The coolant system of your car may have a leak, which is allowing the water to escape. This could be caused by a faulty radiator, a leaking hose or a cracked engine block.
Evaporative loss: In some cases, the water may be evaporating due to high temperatures. This is common when driving in hot weather, and it can be caused by a malfunctioning pressure cap or a faulty radiator cap.
Leak in the water pump: The water pump may be leaking, causing the water to escape from the coolant system.
Leak in the head gasket: A leak in the head gasket can allow coolant to leak into the engine oil, causing the water to disappear.
You need to have it checked for error codes. You could get tailended if power drops unexpectedly. Without the codes, it could be anything from a bad fuel filter to a failed transmission.
NO VIN TOLD
.
2002 bmw 325ci e46?
the dealer of this car asks for the VIN or no books or service parts, sold, to you, see whY/.???????? nor manuals
my online source has no lighting chapters.
users guide does not cover this.
service manual at dealer does. buy one?
USA spec car no not? no country of VIN told so answers can be big time wrong, ok?
sure get a shop to fix it
they have tools you don;'t have.
3.0L is inline 6? called L6
is this car with coil pack that does more than one spark wire?
or have 6, COP spark coils, (all I can do is guess)
or USA has 6 COPS
we check compression first, x6.
got cam timing chain NOISE?
I guess changed word mean replaced, with new COP coil?
well; engine is first , the spark then fuel injector
do DTC P0301 was set, and is still set this error, be specific on DTC errors, even tell them.
301 means weak combustion on #1
bad cylinder compression
bad spark
or #1 injector is bad.
why 3 and 5 fails and all are odd cylinders./
is odd but I suspect VVT problems./
no mileage on the engine told. 300k 400k?
