Vibrate sounds like a loose motor mount. Try jacking the motor up with a piece of thick wood under the oil pan and a floor jack

V8 BMW engine 4.4L and 4.8L have a common problem in drying after burning the valve steam seals in cylinder head, witch cause internal oil leak from the valves to the top of the pistons then the oil burns throw the exhaust valves explain the smoke from the tail pipe.
the issue will continue and will get worse with time until you replace the valve steam seals, $1500-$2500 mostly in labor, a BMW mechanic most have a special tool to do the job with out removing the cylinder heads, it's time consuming.

Bridging the two 8 mm studs with a spanner or similar certainly tests the motor but it is important to test the solenoid as well as the motor which means bridging the hot solenoid terminal to the small terminal at the side - when the solenoid should pull the pinion into mesh with the flywheel and switch on the current so the engine cranks (if all is good).

If that is what happened the starter (and solenoid) can be declared ok and indicates the fault is wiring/relay/starter-ignition switch/immobiliser related.

Has to do with the headrest deployed in a rear end bump. Sometimes the headrest doesn't deploy, but needs to be looked at.

i don't know. if using a remote, try your spare remote to
eliminate damaged remote or low battery in current remote.
use key and open doors and trunk to see if all locks pop up.
i had same problem 2 days ago. i used key and tried to start car. yup, my 12 volt car battery was almost dead. i used
battery charger, started car and drove it for about twenty minutes. i may need new/used [wrecker] battery.

Over torqued and you run the risk of a stripped thread or broken head bolt. Under torqued and the compression gas will leak past the head gasket and burn it out.

Our research indicates that your vehicle does not have a transmission fluid dipstick. These types of transmissions are designed to be maintenance free. In order to check the transmission fluid, your vehicle likely has check valve on the bottom of the transmission on the bottom of your car. Your car must be level when the fluid is checked and we therefore recommend having a mechanic with a hydraulic lift or underground bay check your transmission fluid. Any fluid leaks for this type of transmission should be treated by a mechanic.

Not sure what you mean by over flooding, but if your injectors are leaking, they will flood the engine. Have the injectors checked or replaced, is a good place to start.
