Double check the drains at the front of the sunroof, the rear windshield, or the trunk. It is possible it is the drain from the a/c is plugged also. A simple way to test that is to turn the a/c on and see if water drips from the passenger side near the wheel area. If so, you're good. Take a water hose and systematically water the lowest area metioned above and see if you get water inside the car. You can also pull up the rear seat and see if there is evidence of water from that area. Let me know what you find.

Oddly enough something similar recently happened to my 2009 650i recently purchased. The system would intermittently cut out and restart, turning on the radio even with another source selected or radio off. No idea if there is a short or software issue causing it, but it started when I put the navigation DVD in and tried to use it. Took the DVD out and restarted the system, problem hasn’t returned. I’ve read about others having similar issues with the navigation system causing the radio/idrive to cut out as well. It’s a long shot, but worth posting so others don’t spend money chasing a problem solved by using your smartphone instead of the car’s navigation.

before going to repair shop, sit in car and use fingers to try to move physical door part to lock and unlock. if moving freely, use fob lock and unlock driver's door.. if other doors will lock and unlock with fob then your door panel will have to come off. share your results with your mechanic.

unless you have special tyres that will not deflate on puncture there will be a spare for the car by law. It may be what is called a skinny wheel so that space in the boot is not affected and it is meant only to get the vehicle to the nearest repair shop check with a dealer or the owners manual in the glove box.

You have to take it to a mechanic who has the BMW service reset tool. You might have to pay for this service.

This is because of the cs changer which is mounted in the boot of your cars , this happens when there is any vibration in the car or the wiring is shorted please get it checked .....................

Hello i have a similar problem, took it to the dealer and they advised it was the radiator fan. I replaced that, and the engine hot light turned on again. I also replaced the tempature sensor, and light is on again. One thing i noticed that when the car is parked the engine hot light turns on, but when i drive it , a few minutes later it turns off. Not sure what the cause is. Any suggestions?

It indicates you have a problem with your DSC and its not active.

have a compression test done to check for a blown head gasket or cracked head as the bubbling will be compression gasses
