How do i open petrol cap on bmw 525 diesl

The petrol flap doesn't have a lever to open it like other cars but can be opened when the car is unlocked by pushing on one side of the flap to open, if this will not open then the fuel flap locking actuator is faulty and has not unlocked the fuel flap, if this has occurred open the boot and on the left hand side of the boot you will see a round button, if you cannot see this and you only see a hole then chances are the side cover has been off at some stage and the button hasn't been reinstated, if it is there, pull on it and it will pull the fuel flap locking actuator back allowing you to open the fuel flap.

Location for fuel pump on

Typically, you will find the fuel pump for a BMW 525 located under an access panel in the trunk. Remove the contents of the trunk, remove the floor/spare tire cover and a metal access panel will be visible on the floor being held in by several small bolts. The panel is about 4"x6" in size. Remove the bolts, carefully pry up the panel (it has some sticky sealing material) and the fuel pump mounted on top of the gas tank will be visible with fuel lines entering/exiting it. This is where it was for my 1990 525i.

I HAVE A 2002 BMW 525I I AM ALWAYS RUNNING LOW ON ANTIFREEZE , AND CAN NOT FIND OUT WHERE IT IS LEAKING FROM. HELP

Hii do not know if you have allready done this, but check the carpet under the dash press hard on it and see if it is wet, sometimes the small radiator in the heater ( called the matrix ) leaks due to corrosion, and you cannot see a leak from the outside as it is leaking inside the vehicle, also sometimes you will smell a sweet smell inside the vehicle if there is allot of antifreeze inside but not all the time.Hope this helps.

My 2006 bmw 525i will not start all my dash board light are on help please

Test the battery with a voltmeter. Should read about 12.2 to 12.6 volts for good starting. If less then 12.2, have the battery charged and see if it comes up to 12.6. If it comes up to 12.6 and won't start, battery capacity my be diminished and may need to be replaced. Also, check tightness of cables at battery connectors. Loose is not good for starting an engine but still may operate the interior lighting.. Also if it's a stock BMW battery, I get about 5 yrs of service from them.

The radiator fan on my 2007 bmw 525i works fine

My guess is that your electric fan is NOT operating at all. Under normal conditions, just going down the highway, your cooling system will function just fine without a fan running. The air flow through the radiator is adequate to keep things cool. However, when you stop, you quickly get into an "overheat" situation. Actually, you should be able to hear your fan begin operating when your engine temperature starts climbing or your air conditioner requires the fan to do its thing. Note: If you've ever severely overheated your engine, your problems may be worse than just a fan not running, but you really do need to confirm whether your fan is operating correctly, or not. Another note: I had a vehicle with a tendency to overheat when stopped. It turned out to be a faulty (leaking) pressure cap on the cooling system.

Radiator fan not working

The radiator fan only comes on when the engine is at operating temperature. If it's not coming on when the engine is up to temp, check the thermostat.

2001 BMW 525i 2.5 starts and quits after two

The pressure can be good and the flow can be bad. Change the filters on the fuel line first. Then if it persists you have to check the flow. If it still is ok, you are looking at either a problem with the throttle control module or crank sensor.

Cooling fan not coming on 2000 323ci. Thermostat,

If everything you checked is working properly then it must be the fan motor. I'm sure you know it only turns on when a certain temperature threshold is reached correct? Checking because I've had people come in who think it should always be on.
