Have it checked with a scan tool and also check the transmission fluid level and condition.

P0302 - misfire on #2 cylinder . Could be a bad spark plug , spark plug wire , or a bad ingintion coil , a bad fuel injector etc.... There are videos on youtube that could help you sort this out .

Check the air outlet temperatures at the vents. If they are very low, your cabin air filter might be plugged/dirty. Has any work been done on the compressor lately? dirt in the system can cause the expansion valve to malfunction.

Hi Steve. It is an inline 6 cylinder designated as the M54 2.5liter.

There was more than one engine available for that car. You will need a copy of the original registration document. You could also look for the engine code on the engine block. But the paperwork (V5 in the UK, Pink slip in the USA), is the easiest way to do it.

when a battery is completely drained, it shortens the life or could kill it all together. Time for a new one. Doesn't need to be coded.

What do you mean by "emergency lights" 4 way flashers?

Sounds like it probably is a relay that's died. You will need to look in the relay box, assuming that car has one, and with luck, under the lid it will tell you which relay does what. Replace the turn signal relay(s). If they're not in a separate box, it/they are probably somewhere behind/under the dash. Sorry I can't be more specific :{

Have you checked to see if your flasher replay is working properly ? Sometimes over time, they go bad and freeze.

It's best to. You can go longer than automatics. Oil viscosity break down. If it's been 11 years, I would change it.

Try changing the spark plug/ignition coil to a different cylinder and see what happens. Compression test would be a good idea. A common problem is the boot at the throttle body cracking but vacuum leaks can be hard to find, sometimes it's a good idea to someone else take a look.

I think these don't use a traditional expansion valve, but rather an "orifice tube", located in the high pressure line junction near firewall going to evap unit.
