Check the refrigerant pressure. There is a low pressure switch that will prevent the compressor from running. If the pressure is OK, check to see if the clutch engages. If it appears to engage the clutch might be worn or worse. was the compressor noisy before it stopped working. If so then the clutch bearing might be shot. but in that case the compressor would still run but be noisy when not on. If noisy when on, then it is toast.

It can be the brushed in the alternator worn or the regulator in the alternator is bad. How many miles do you have on it? The regulator and brush assembly can be obtained and installed fairly easily.

any check engine light?? manual or auto drive, check fluid levels. Last Changed, all wheel drive??

You may have a leak directly onto the fuse panel. When new harness was put in the connections were good and tight with the protective cosmoline. But over time it have deteriorated and water is now getting onto the back of the fuse panel. Had a couple Rabbits that had that problem. Turns out it was a common problem.

hook up a scanner that has live data and see if there shows engine rpm when cranking 150 to 200 rpm,if not...look at the crank sensor.. sorry i do not have time to reply

If your battery is dead enough, even the dead battery indicator won't light. Take the battery to an autoparts store for a bench test/charge first before trying anything else.

Car not starting or turning over indicates towards multiple possibilities. It can be issue with battery or weak battery. But if battery checks out ok, then it can be starter issue or faulty alternator or problem with low fuel pressure or no spark at spark plugs due to dirty spark plugs or faulty ignition coil or injectors getting cracked or dirty and needs to be cleaned.

Please try another bulb before you go for something else. Many times happened to me even the new bulb not working. Advice: just remove the good bulb of brake light you have on driver's side and try it on the passenger side. If it works,surely another bulb. If not,ask for an Electrician to help.

Spark comes from the coils. Which gets a signal from the computer which comes from the cam and crank sensors. If the cam is not turning or a part is broken and the computer won't send a signal to the coils it wont fire. Throttle is for fuel and air mix.

check the basics first. Fuel pressure - there is a shrader (sp?) valve on the fuel rail on the engine where you can check that. Check if there is spark - pull on of the coils and put in a spark plug and crank. It can also be the ignition switch but check the two things above and then you will know where to look for the problem

Maybe size of wheels?

I have noticed when the oil is changed, there is a splash/skid plate near the drain plug and old oil may collect on top of that plate, then drip down later. Worth a look.

are the pluged in correctly? if yes then coil pack is faulty. they are common problem on bmw
